Characteristic On Growth And Pole Sugar Contents Of Sweet Sorghum Hybrids

The test used 10 representative varieties ,from 2003 to 2004,lasting two years,which arranged the varieties, planting date, density and the quantity of N, P, K experiments in the experimental farmland of Henan agriculture university.The test studied sweet sorghum growth , Pn physiology and sugar productivity. Main conclusions are as follows:1. Hybrids varieties growth , shape and Brix characteristic are better than normal varieties. Wether hybrids or normal species, growth stage with pull out the stanza period have got to show the remarkable difference, and have significant positive relaionship ( R=0.949). Along with delay that plant the period, the sweet sorghum grows the progress quickly, growth stage to shorten gradually, from April 20 to June 18 date a delay for sowing seeds, sweet sorghum all can be grown maturely, but along with sowing date postponded, both yield and Brix lowered . The influence of density with the quantity of N, P, K on growth stages was not obvious.2. The agriculture form shows the difference remarkble .The plant height is tallest to tian za 2hao, Su ma ke is lowest;The tian za 2 hao stanza number is at most, the ji tian 2 hao is minimal;The greenery leave number of lv neng 2 hao and liao si za 2 hao were more than other specieses in harvest. The resisting investigation showing, the varietirs of V2 V4, V6, V7, V9 V10 wether the degree of lodge or anti- insect and diseases were better than other species, but along with the sowing time delay, the anti- lodge ability descent.3. Brix has positive relationship with jointing stage, pull out stanza time and growth stage, plant height, stanza number ;Grouting time, pole circumference negative with the Brixrelated.Fresh stem yield and fresh yield with leaves and with pull out stanza time , growth stage, plant height, pole circumference, stanza number were related positively with the yield , but with jointing stage, grouting time negative related. The Brix has the pimping relativity with the yield, so choosing the ritht verieties , can gain the highest biggest sugar productivity. Along with the postponding of sowing time, the yield lowered significantly, however, the brix didi not change much. From all considerated factors, planting from April 20 to the beginning of the June in Henan using the variety of the liao si za 2 hao, long si za 1 hao and lv neng 2 hao could get the target of yield 3000-4000 kg/ hm2 and Brix 16%.
