Situation Analysis And Rejuvenation Technology Project On Ancient And Historical Trees In Changsha

As an important basic resource on construction of landscape city and forest city for Changsha, Strengthening the protection of ancient and historical tree resources, which was thought to be an important infrastructure for Changsha to creating the national landscape city and forest city. At present, the distribution of ancient and historical tree resources in Changsha area has been known letter, just for which according on the two baseline survey that was carried out by Administration of Changsha City Garden. Based on the work of the third investigation and listing of ancient and historical tree resources in planning urban area in Changsha, we had the weaker growth of them been rescue rejuvenation, and then had the works summarized and compared one by one. The main results and conclusion are summarized as follows:1. The third document survey and back up of the city’s ancient and historical trees resource was carried out. The first stage work of the third time document and resources survey of ancient and historical tree had been accomplished in Changsha city, which dated from May in2005, and ended at October in2006.1265stains of ancient and historical trees was documented, including of1174in Kaifu district, Furong district, Tianxin district and Yuelu district, and91in11countries township. The Pingtang town, Hanpu town and Lianhua town in Yuelu district were been added to the field of investigation in2008. The number of ancient and historical in document had inputted1292stains, belonging to34families,54genus, and69species. At last,1174stains of ancient and historical trees had been listed by our work.2. The survey on distribution and analysis of growth vigor of ancient and historical trees was carried out in Changsha city. The present situation of1292stains of ancient and historical trees that had been documented was summarized and analyzed in this article. Later, the problems of protective work on ancient and historical trees had been gathered. The work methods of protective ancient and historical trees, including of ground environmental remediation, soil and water environmental restoration, integrated fertilizer irrigation, ecological community restoration and reconstruction, pest control and listing, had been comprehensive summarized.3. Rejuvenation techniques of ancient trees in Changsha are explored on purpose, the successful conservation experience and efforts are summed up. The countermeasures of protection of ancient and historical trees are put forward. Rejuvenation work of ancient and historical trees need to sum up certain experiences and explore more effective process for protecting in the future The protection and rejuvenation work of ancient and historical trees need to put forward to a more scientific, rational and efficient new heights.
