Precise agriculture has already been an important supporting project in modern agriculturaldevelopment which represented the highest level of the world’s agricultural science andtechnology development. Using3S technologies (remote sensing technology, geographicinformation system, global positioning system) as a support, geographic information collectionLot soil fertilizer required content and expert decision systems basing on the completion of therequirements about agricultural production. In precise agriculture, variable rate fertilization wasan important component. There were two ways of variable rate fertilization, one way was basedon the real-time monitoring of soil informative feedback to the control system to adjust to blockvariable fertilization, the other way was used to provide land acquisition through prescriptivemap plots of GPS location informative fertilization, control fertilization means fertilization. Notonly did variable fertilization improve soil utilization which ensured the normal utilization offertilizer effectively without causing serious consequences, such as land degradation. But also itcould decrease the farmers’ investment, increase crop yields, guarantee farmers’ incomes, andfinally prevented water utilization due to misuse of fertilizers eutrophication, pollution and so on.This research designed the variable fertilization system and studied about variable fertilizationdrive control system in-depth.Literature reviews were browsed to understand the present situation of variable ratefertilization techniques, advantages and disadvantages of several existing common variablefertilization drive control system, which were suitable for the characteristics of Chineseagricultural working spreader proposing the design of variable rate fertilization hydraulic drivecontrol system.The summaries about several different methods and hardware of drive controlsystem research of variable rate hydraulic drive and control system including a stepper motor,drive and controller principle analysis and research. External groove wheel of fertilizer wasanalyzed and used a system of touch-screen computer selection and presentation to accept GPS.The increasing key components of the hydraulic torque converter were focused which includedhydraulic torque converter parameters calculation and selection criteria, and so on.Create acontrol system of mathematical equations to test and analyze the system of integrity andfeasibility of a mathematical model.Finally, the final commission of the system was provided bythe Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University Hydraulic laboratory to verify the relationshipamong the working property of the system, the operation voltage, the speed and flow ofhydraulic test stand motor and the pressure of the hydraulic oil. Using variable rate fertilizationfield trials to test the rationality and feasibility of the whole variable drive control system of fertilization in the future which was concluded to meet the requirements of agriculture variablerate fertilization.
