Abstract/Summary:
The Granary mechanical ventilation technology has always been the research focus forthe safety grain storage. However, due to that most researchers choose small test granary astheir research object or make their research under the relatively simple grain storageenvironment, so they could not do make ideal accurate simulation study on the granaryecosystem. Many ventilation parameters are also set by empirically theory. Thesetraditional methods could not meet the current safety, energy–saving and efficient grainstorage requirements.This article proposed the computational fluid dynamics (here in after is referred to CFD)technology which made simulation studies on granary ventilation under different grainstorage and ventilation conditions, With comparison and analysis of the simulation results,got the advanced ventilation model and developed host machine and lower machine for theintelligent ventilation control system, and finally put this machines into the trials. Thedetailed researched achievement and specific contents are as follows:With the CFD technology, the temperature changes were simulated during the granaryventilation period. Under the different ventilation environments, different mathematicalmodels were set up for ventilation,with comparison and analysis of numerical simulation andexperimental results, the advanced scientific granary ventilation models were finally obtained,which then thus providing a reliable theoretical support for the design of intelligentventilation control system.Using ARM as its core processor, the lower machine of ventilation model, by combiningwireless communications and serial communication technology, collected the temperatureand moisture within the granary and tested the switch signals of ventilation machines, fansand wind windows, which were then transmitted to the host machine by communicationprotocol. According to these requests from the host machine, the lower machine couldconnect the drive circuit to control the switch of ventilation machines, fans and windwindowsBased on the C#and Sel2005, with development and design of the host machine and accomplishment of communications between the host machine and the lower machine, theoverall system performance were tested to achieve the intelligent ventilation control systems.This article mainly discussed making granary ventilation system models by CFDtechnology. What simulated the grain stack temperature, pressure and speed changes in theventilation process,made scientific settings on ventilation parameters and intelligent controlon ventilation system,achieving intelligent ventilation barn.
