In allusion to the reducing of maize yield which caused by the sowing time repeatedlydelayed in north China, maize transplanting are put forward for a important technical measures. With filed experiments and seeding tests, the effect of transplanting on production was studied, soas to obtain systematic transplanting technology. The research contents mainly included thetransplanting age of seedling, sowing date, varieties and the nutrient regulation of seedling stage.Main conclusions are as follows:1. For3leaf seedling which endosperm did not disappear, application of N, P, K nutrient canpromote the growth of seedlings, but the dosage should controled in a reasonable range. For traceelement, this study suggested that zinc with boron could produce inhibitory effect on seedlinggrowth, and manganese fertilizer could promote plant photosynthesis.2. Sowing date for June20th, transplanting did not show more obvious increasing productioneffect, but growing on June25, transplanting maize yield have more17-23%yield thendirect-seeded maize, indicating that sowing date on June25, especially after June25, transplantingwas an important method for reaching high yield. In the experiment,2leaf seedlings showed morestable yield performance than3leaf seedlings which suggested if sowing date delayed to June25,2-leaf of maize seedlings could be used to achieve the goal of stable or increase yield.Transplanting could increase the amount of dry matter accumulation after flowering, andimproving the dry matter accumulation after flowering accounted for the proportion of the totalaccumulated during whole growth period. And effectively improve the ability of plant nutrientabsorption and distribution.3. The maize seedlings cultivating in nursery site compared to direct seeded maize at thesame time sowing sped up the vegetative growth stage of the development process, although itssowing to jointing stage increased by1day, but the jointing stage to silking stage shortened2days,which made the vegetative growth stage shorten, at the same time because of the damage oftransplanting and the process of slow seedlings, the growth potential was weak, panicle and plantreproductive traits were declined, yield was low. The yield of nursery site corn compared to directseeded maize which seeded on the same period was significantly higher, which was due to its4days in grouting time, mature period for9days in advance, which effectively solved the groutingtime due to insufficient and low temperature strength of the grouting.4. Transplanting variety test result showed that it could choose middle or late-maturingvarieties in terms of variety choice, in xianyu335, zhengdan958, which could achieve better stableyield in local climate conditions.
