Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus Kuschel, belonging to Lissorhoptrus, Erirhininae, Curculionidae,Coleoptera,is also called Rice water weevil, which is one kind of important international quarantine pests ofrice. It was first discovered in Xinjiang in June2010, it has been increasingly damaging rice seriously, itconstitutes a catastrophic crisis for Rice Production in Xinjiang. The article studied the major biological characteristics and occurrence regulation of L. oryzophilus inIli-Valley of Xinjiang, effects of different temperatures and light intensity on flight capacity in L.oryzophilus, for exploring the population expansion and migration influencing factors of L. oryzophilus andproviding a basis for the effective control of the spread and prevention of L. oryzophilus. Draw thefollowing conclusions:1、 The major biological characteristics and occurrence regulation of L. oryzophilus in Ili-Valley ofXinjiang: L. oryzophilus has one generation a year in Ili-Valley of Xinjiang, with diapause adultsoverwintering in the soil surface and shallow soil, the main overwintering sites was forest and ridge nearbythe rice fields. Overwintering L. oryzophilus began the unearthed activities, feeding at the end of the earlyApril, then gradually spread in the weeds, wheat and other dryland crops to activities and feeding inmid-April, In early May, since removing film from seedling, seedling to see adults; After planting, theHonda to see adult. It could be seen a large number of adults migration from dryland to paddy fields insunny evening of mid to late May.Overwintering adults began to oviposite in late May, and gradually diedafter oviposting. Eclosion beginning period of adult was in mid-July, Peak appeared in late July to earlyAugust. since the beginning of August, L. oryzophilus began to transfer to their overwintering sites at theweeds, adults began to bury for overwintering in mid-August, until the end of September, the activitiedadults have not been seen.2、 Effects of different temperatures on flight capacity in L. oryzophilus: In a certain temperaturerange, the flight capacity of L. oryzophilus increased with the rise of temperature, when the temperaturenear25℃,the flight capacity of L. oryzophilus was the strongest, Subsequently, the flight capacitydecreased with the rise of temperature. Temperature had greater effect on flight capacity, the taking offtemperature of L. oryzophilus was20℃,and the optimum flight temperature range was25℃~30℃.At thesame temperature conditions, there was no obvious difference between overwintering L. oryzophilus andbefore earthed L. oryzophilus on the flight capacity.3、Effects of different light intensity on flight capacity in L. oryzophilus: When the Light Intensity was100lx,the flight capacity of L. oryzophilus was the strongest, and the flight capacity decreased with the riseof Light Intensity. Light Intensity had greater effect on flight capacity, under the weak light intensity, L. oryzophilus migration easily, and the optimum flight light intensity was100lx.
