Given the actual situation of Hainan coastal shelterbelt mostly for Casuarina pure forest, single species, simple structure, germplasm degradation, Haikou City from1998began to implement renovation of test for Casuarina coastal pure forest, mainly updated and reform Casuarina degraded forest, to creating a mixed coastal shelter forest. Respectively, in the state-owned XinHai field, Hainan Provice Forestry Research Institute and Haikou City Forestry Research Institute set up experimental forest, after initial success in trials, in Haikou City Forestry Research Institute set up promotion of Forest to advance test promote, the total area of experimental forest and promotion of forest is379hm2.After Casuarina coastal pure forests of transformation updated test11years, the project team where the author to three experimental forest and a promotion of forest were investigated, the results indicate that the project has achieved the following results:1.screened suitable mixed mode:Survey results show that Casuarina equisetifolia L+Acaciamangium+Calophyllum inophyllum L Mixed mode is suitable for the construction of coastal shelterbelt in Haikou City,11years old of the mixed forest volume per hm2for58.53m3, while the same age Casuarina pure forest stock volume is only every hm223.25m3, the ratio between2.5:1.2.screened out suitable species for mixed forest with casuarina:Experimental Forest in Hainan Provice Institute of Forestry participate in the trial of seven mixed tree species (Acacia mangium,Calophyllum inophyllum L,Acer Buergeria Num,Chukrasia tabularis,Streblus asper Lour,Terminalia catappa,Melia azedarach), and the Acacia mangium,Calophyllum inophyllum L of growthing have a best performance:4-year-old Acacia mangium average diameter, tree height was6.51cm,4.66m, in which reached a maximum of12.4cm and5.54m;4-year-old Calophyllum inophyllum L average diameter, tree height were1.55cm,1.025m, in which reached a maximum of2.8cm and1.18m, while the other five species did not survive.3.mixed forest after the transformation enhances soil fertility:Soil nutrient content from the survey found that in mixed forest,the available nitrogen reach17.475mg/kg, an increase of8.58mg/kg than pure Casuarina equisetifolia L forest8.895mg/kg, a96%increase.4.increased biodiversity:mixed forests compared with pure Casuarina Equiset-ifolia L forests understory vegetation, forest litter and soil surface root system has been significantly increased:1-2pure forest understory plant species, reached six kinds of mixed and the emergence of Pheasants, squirrels and other animals activities; understory litter appeared undecomposed layer, semi-decomposed layer and decomposition layer mixture; at the same time, litterfall the soil surface roots are more than the Casuarina pure.5.enhance the ecological benefits:mixed forest compared with pure forest, tree species composition from one kind to three species, forest structure becomes complicated by the simple, forest landscape change from monochrome multicolor and forest stock volume increased by1.5times.6.mixed forest have a better economic and social benefits:According to estimates, the average annual output value mixed forest of up to5205yuan/hm2, while Casuarina equisetifolia L pure forest was1417.5yuan/hm2,3.67times the former for the latter, such as the promotion of40000hm2, annual output will reach200million yuan.Its significant social benefits, the transformation is equivalent to more than40,000hm2made60,000hm2Casuarina forest, not only provide numerous employment opportunities for the community, and will enhance the value of international tourism in Hainan Island, thus contributing to the economic development of Hainan.In this paper, on the basis of a comprehensive investigation in this renovation project, summed suitable haikou coastal shelterbelt mixed mode,filter out suitable haikou coastal shelterbelt mixed tree species, the transformation of the ecological, economic and social benefits were comprehensive analysis, the outcome in favor of the reform further application.
