Soil quality degradation caused by the soil erosion has become a focus of concern countries in the world, and is also one of the most prominent problems of ecological environment in China. Ninghua County has well be known for the Fujian province in purple soil erosion area is large and concentrated, the intense degree of loss, difficult to control. In this paper, the diversity of plant species and treatment effect on soil quality are analyzed on ecological restoration areas of purple soil erosion in Ninghua.A typical plant community survey selected12breakthrough plots of different control measures, and analyzed vegetation species from richness index, diversity index, evenness index and dominance index. The results showed that the tree layer richness, diversity index and evenness index are minimum, the dominant species most significant. From the point of species richness and diversity, shrub layer is superior herb layer, but not as good as the herb layer in uniformity, the dominant species was significantly higher than the herb layer. Comprehensive comparison of the effects on vegetation restoration treatment measures, the mode of governance of grass and shrub with platform is superior to grass and shrub with level trench, terraced fields effect is more ideal governance model, particularly terraces fields+bamboo ditch governance, banning governance is best, but needed the longest time, and effective slower.Severe erosion in purple soil area selected seven typical governance models, four different recovery periods, six kinds of tillage. Taking the field investigation, sampling and analysis of indoor experiment, combining the theoretical basis and practical experience of their predecessors, different governance models, different recovery time and tillage on soil quality was studied. First, to analyze different vegetation restoration models of physical and chemical properties of soil, the results show Needle mixed mode is the most obvious effect on improving soil physical properties, and its effect is more significant for the degradation of soil organic matter, total nitrogen and available NPK. Secondly, the paper analyze soil physical and chemical characteristic in different restoration time, the results showed that the recovery time is longer, the soil bulk density, porosity, water retention and better soil texture is better, and the improvement effect of the soil chemical properties is more outstanding, for the characteristic of the improvement of the total nitrogen which are slow down after, the improved results for total phosphorus is relatively slow, with the recovery time increment, soil K content and PH value is reduced. Finally, the paper research soil physical and chemical characteristic in different cultivation pattern, the results showed that platform with tea and terrace with tea mode also help maintain soil fertility.For a comprehensive look at the recovery of damaged ecosystems must be restored simultaneously from two aspects of vegetation communities and soil quality.
