Application Of Ornamental Bamboos In Urban Landscape In Ningbo

Ningbo, which has a long history and a profounded culture, at the same time, is one of the most economically developed cities in Zhejiang Province. With the development of foreign trade and economic strength, Ningbo has many claims on the construction of urban landscape. However, to make use the collocation of tree-shrub-grass is the main means of construction,with regular tree supplemented by placing flowers and grass to improve the environment. Ornamental bamboo have many advantages,as follows, fast growth and reproduction, configure easily, fewer pests and diseases, no pollen contamination and high ornamental value, this green plants which possess unique advantages in characteristics of growth, ornamental and culture, more and more widely used in urban greening Landscaping, while application of Ornamental bamboo in the urban landscaping is still in its infancy in Ningbo.The author has conducted a comprehensive survey on the application of ornamental bamboo in Ningbo, Jiangbei, Yinzhou, Haishu East, Beilun five regional urban landscape. Pertinently selecting five kinds of land for the construction of14field cases in detail survey,which based on the residential land use, public administration and public services, commercial and service facility land, land transport facilities and green.Through the means of data collection, visual recording, and professional interviews, analyzed the Landscaping application of ornamental bamboo in Ningbo City. The detailed investigation cases, involving ornamental bamboo species (including varieties) were three genera and species, configuration mode for clump planting, solitary planting, groupings, avenue system, spread planting, basin plant, general and garden road, rocks, water and building landscape element collocation. At present, ornamental bamboo in Ningbo urban landscape main existing such problem as application few varieties, form a single, planting proportion is low, the application scope is narrow, management technology is backward, the relevant departments pay less attention.Aiming at the defects and puts forward some Suggestions main on strengthening the ornamental bamboo resources development, improve the professional design level, strengthen the ornamental bamboo breeding and cultivation techniques of gardening change research, expand production and establish ornamental bamboo seedling base, create ornamental bamboo fields development platform on five aspects to strengthen the urban landscape in the construction of ornamental bamboo in Ningbo.This article through the analysis of ornamental bamboo in Ningbo urban landscape, puts forward the existing defects and give advice, gives recommendations for ornamental bamboo in ningbo city of landscape can be used as a reference value, as a member of the Ningbo landscape construction,I hopes the paper can cast a brick to attract jade for attracting attentions of more garden workers for the application of ornamental bamboos in Ningbo’s urban landscaping,and will put classical ornamental bamboo landscape into the practices of modern Ningbo landscape ecology concept, so that the ornamental bamboo in Ningbo city landscape has a broader application of space.
