In laying hens industry, a large number of previous production practice, scientific experiments and scientific studies show that the growth process, health, reproductive capacity and feed utilization of laying hens are affected by the internal environment of the hen-house. The quality of the internal environment of the house has become a major factor affecting egg farming industry to grow.In the small and medium sized chicken industry, temperature, humidity and light intensity are the key environmental factors, and play a vital role on the growth, health, numbers and quality of laying hen-house. In addition, harmful gases and dust content and other environmental factors also have bad impact. In order to achieve the hen-house environmental monitoring, in consideration of a variety of work-site and on the basis of optimised design for SCM systems, this paper designed a set of environmented intelligent monitoring devices for small and medium sized farm with a main chip STC89C52RC, combing the lighting and ventilation controllers. System hardware consists of three parts:settings, acquisition and controls, supporting keyboard input and digital display. The system can collect environmental parameters which affect mainly chicken growth, temperature, humidity, light, etc., and can compare the acquired parameter and reset tiem, so as to determine whether environmental conditions in the house require to adjust in order to achieve the automatic control of the internal environment parameters. After the hardware and software debugging, achieve the basic requirements for the design is achieved.The device has many good featness. first the cost is low, second it is simple and easy to use, third the operation is also simple and high reliability.
