Resources Survey And Ornamental Value Evaluation Of Flowering Prunsus Sibirica Resources In Qinhuangdao

Prunsus sibirica is one of important endemic wild resource fruits resources in northern China. It has important ecological, economic and social benefit, as well as broad development prospects. Current research on Prunus sibirica mainly concentrated in the development and utilization of germplasm resources and comprehensive evaluation of ornamental characteristics.In this study, Prunus sibirica resources in Qinhuangdao was surveyed, which aimed at identifying wild apricot suitable for appreciation and then a comprehensive ornamental value using the method of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) by observing the record of their flowering phenology and ornamental character of morphological index, so as to provide the basis for proposed Prunus sibirica entertainment resources in urban greening. The main research process and results are as follows:1. Three types Prunus sibirica flower types, ‘ L ’ eshanxing ’, A.sibirica var.multipetala Liu Zhang,Prunsus sibirica chrysanthemum, were investigation of in Qinhuangdao, of which chrysanthemum Prunus sibirica is a newly discovered type.2. Flowering phenology of Prunus sibirica is investigated, the flowering phase is concentrated in mid-April(from 10 d to 17 d), flowering phase is different(from 3 d to 4 d). Flowering phenology of the same species(type) is different in different regions, the average temperature in the region is late(from 11 d to 14 d).3. genetic differences were found among flower morphological characters of Prunus sibirica, of which showed high morphological diversity.4. Prunus sibirica resources evaluation index system of ornamental value is founded by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), of which is closely related to the ornamental value of 14 indexes constitute the standard layer.5. By comparative analysis with other 15 kinds of Prunus ornamental plants,ornamental value for the three kinds of Prunus sibirica flower resources were carried on the comprehensive evaluation. A.sibirica var.multipetala Liu Zhang and chrysanthemum Prunus sibirica were in grade Ⅰ,‘L ’eshanxing’ in grade Ⅱ,resource concept of Prunus sibirica flower has very high ornamental value, which could be in popularization and application in urban greening and other ornamental purposes.6.As an ornamental tree species, Prunus sibirica flower resources is generally applied to urban parks and green, urban road greening and green residential area, its configuration can be solitary plant, clump planting, group planting, row planting, for planting. Prunus sibirica flower resources to shoud be explioitated by certain principles, in order to obtain good exploitation prospects and expand the development and utilization of space.
