Electrolytic manganese slag is a kind of high moisture solid waste which generated from leaching manganese carbonate with sulfuric acid. For a large number of electrolytic manganese slag generated in the production process of electrolytic manganese industry not only occupy the land, but also may pollute the environment and other outstanding issues, making full use of the electrolytic manganese slag, which contain relatively abundance N, and Se, B, M n, Na, Fe, k, organic matter, ammonia nitrogen and other nutrient elements. So explore the potential utilization value of electrolytic manganese slag as fertilizer resources, transform trash into treasure, reduce the agricultural manganese fertilizer cost, increase crop yield, improve the quality of crops, reduce environmental pollution, achieve the comprehensive utilization of industrial waste recycling resources. Maintenance of ecological safety, and promote the coordinated development of environment friendly. Through field experiments and laboratory analysis, to explore the application of electrolytic manganese slag alone, mixed with inorganic fertilizer, mixed with organic fertilizer, and made from electrolytic manganese slag organic-inorganic fertilizer after application of soil and crop effect. The main research results as follows:1. Basic physical and chemical properties of electrolytic manganese slag:Electrolytic manganese slag is a kind of small black powder material, it is the necessary nutrition conditions with fertilizer, most of the ingredients are nutrients required for plant growth.2. The effect of electrolytic manganese slag and different proportions on Soil Physical and Chemical Properties:Application of electrolytic manganese slag separately, the organic matter, available phosphorus, alkaline hydrolysis nitrogen in the soil were significantly increased; application of combined electrolysis manganese slag and organic - inorganic compound fertilizer, with the increase of the content of applying electrolytic manganese slag,the soil available potassium, available phosphorus, alkaline hydrolysis nitrogen content increased, organic matter and total salt content significantly increased too, but pH content decreased. The proper application of electrolytic manganese slag can avoid salinity accumulation in soil.3. Effect of Electrolytic manganese slag and different proportion on maize and vegetable:Single applied with electrolytic manganese slag, the affects to the plant height, stem diameter, chlorophyll content of maize were not obvious; but to the vitamin C, the reducing sugar and soluble sugar content of Pepper increased, especially the vitamin C increased significantly, that was better than the single application of inorganic fertilizer. Mixed electrolytic manganese slag and organic fertilizer, dry matter accumulation of maize significantly increased; but the plant height, stem diameter, chlorophyll content not obvious; mixed electrolytic manganese slag and inorganic fertilizer, vitamin C and soluble sugar content of pepper significantly increased, production growth with the same time; mixed electrolytic manganese slag and organic-inorganic fertilizer, the plant height, stem diameter, chlorophyll content of maize sample were significantly increased; the vitamin C, soluble sugar and reducing sugar content of Pepper have been reached the higher level.4. The agricultural security effects of electrolytic manganese slag or mixed electrolytic manganese slag and organic-inorganic fertilizer:Compared to control soil,single applied with electrolytic manganese slag, doubling the total chromium content, while copper, nickel, zinc, manganese and other elements of content raise not obvious, did not cause soil heavy metals pollution. With the application of electrolytic manganese slag and organic fertilizer soil sample, organic fertilizers effective complexation soil heavy metals, and manganese from outside the content of each element decreased, even lower than the control soil.After the electrolytic manganese slag applied, promote the development of maize root system and nutrient absorption and accumulation, the manganese, copper and chromium mainly concentrate in the roots of Maize, so migration and transformation to the upper part of ground significantly reduced, contribute to food safety; Did not impact nickel and arsenic content of pepper in the stem, the contents of trace elements copper and manganese uptake and accumulation significantly improved; With the application of mixed electrolytic manganese slag and organic-inorganic fertilizer, promoted plant growth and development, the copper, manganese and zinc of absorption and accumulation was significantly increased, and meet the food safety standards, it is the development and utilization of new fertilizer resources.
