The soybeans Dongnong 42 and 47 were used for experiment materials with planting in the pot. The effect of La+ and Ce+ among different concentrations on proline content, yield and its components and quality in the seedling stage, flowering stage was studied. Designed to filter out suitable rare earth type, concentration and spraying period, in order to further explore the rare earths providing the theoretical basis of plant resistance mechanisms to improve soybean yield and quality, provide a reference for rare earth farm.The results showed:La3+ and Ce3+ at certain concentrations could promote the synthesis of proline of two kinds of soybeans, and La (Ⅲ) role in promoting better than Ce (III), spraying in the flowering stage better than seedling stage:for soybean Dongnong 42 and 47, under 120 mg·L-1 LaCl3 treatment in the flowering stage, proline content of two kinds of soybeans reached the maximum was 13.33 μg·g-1 and 13.84 μg·g-1, both increased 10.2% and 13.63%, and showed significant differences comparing CK.La3+ and Ce3+ at certain concentrations could increase soybean pods per plant grains, seed weight per plant and seed weight to improve soybean yield:for soybean Dongnong 42 and 47, spraying in the flowering stage better than seedling stage, under 120 μg·g-1 LaCl3treatment and 120 μg·g-1 CeCl3 treatment in the flowering stage, yield of two kinds of soybeans reached the maximum was 538.51g·m-2 and 513.26g·m-2, both increased 40.98% and 36.09%, and showed significant differences comparing CK.For high-protein soybean Dongnong-42, all treatments increased protein content, total content of protein and fat, and decreased fat content, under 40 mg·L-1 LaCl3 treatment in the flowering stage, protein content and total content of protein and fat of soybean Dongnong-42 reached the maximum was 46.18% and 65.41%, both increased 9.35% and 3.87%. For high-fat soybean Dongnong-47, all treatments increased fat content,and decreased protein content, total content of protein and fat. under 80 mg·L-1 LaCl3 treatment in the seeding stage, fat content of soybean Dongnong-47 reached the maximum was 23.57%, increased 7.54%.
