More than 34 cultivars of peach introduced form peach experimental station of Meixian as experimental materials were conducted to investigation phenophase,floral organs and fruit quality.The peach cultivars including "Zhong Nong Jin Shuo", "Nan Fang Jin Mi", "Rui Guang Mei Yu" and 11 nectarine varieties, "Rui Pan 21", "Rui Pan 22", "Zhong You Pan 4" and other 8(oil) peach varieties "Jin Xiang", "Xia Cui", "Gui Bao" and 15 ordinary peach varieties.The investigation results were comprehensive analysis and evaluation, which screened out the peach cultivars for the development of Shanxi Province to enrich Shanxi peach planted.The results showed:In 11 nectarine cultivars, the "Burghardt jade",which was a cooked variety, had the best comprehensive characters. The flowering was March 25 th, and the fruit maturity was July 11 th. Average fruit weighted up to 215 g, fruit shape rounded, skin color showed all red, soluble solids content was 13.5%, and the taste was sweet. It showed good adaptability and was suitable for promotion planted in Shaanxi province.In 8 peach varieties, the “Rui Pan 21”and “Rui Pan 22”, whose flowering both were March 24 th, had the best comprehensive characters. The fruit maturity of “Rui Pan 21”and “Rui Pan 22” were September 20 th and August 18 th, respectively. The "Ruipan 21" were super-late-maturing varieties, "Ruipan 22" belonged to the late varieties. Average fruit weight and soluble solids content were 240 g and 209 g, 12.6% and 15%, respectively. The taste were sweet. In the experimental field planting the two peach varieties showed a good adaptability, which were suitable for planting in Shaanxi province.In 15 normal peach cultivars, with "jin xiang" and "XiaHui 5," the best synthetical properties, the testbed "jin xiang" is the beginning of flowering on March 25 th, fruit maturation is on June 27 th, the average fruit weight 285.2 g, yellow flesh, soluble solids content 12.7%, sweet thick taste; "XiaHui 5" the beginning of flowering is on March 23, fruit maturation is on June 27 th, average fruit weight 282 g, white peach, soluble solids content 13.5%, sweet taste, both varieties in both a fruit flavor is good, can be used as ordinary varieties in shaanxi area expansion to plant.
