Marantaceae is monocot insect-borne type division evolution,including about 30 genera and 400 species, distributed in the americas and Asia tropics, alternaria alternata America tropical rainforest and its borders. Marantaceae with many varieties, different posture, blade or spectacular, or pure and fresh quietly elegant, strong decorative, is currently one of the more popular foliage plants. As a foliage plant application, Marantaceae include Calathea, Maranta, Donayc and Phrynium. Maranta leuconeura is Maranta of Marantaceae, small and exquisite plant, of which leaf color is beautiful. It is a famous indoor shade foliage plants and greenhouse widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical. Which is Suitable for indoor potted damp to high-grade groundcover plants or gardens.Foliage plants of Marantaceae is popular among people and have big market demand, of which leaf color is beautiful and graceful. But it mainly depends on foreign imports because of the shortage of provenance and breeding technology difficulties. Although the research about Marantaceae multiply rapidly has made great progress in China in recent years, some key technology research is not enough in-depth, still in the small business and development stage of industrialization, and rapid propagation still need to further speed up the pace. In view of this, Maranta leuconeura in Maranta of Marantaceae was used as explants to study systematically the tissue culture in this article, which provide theory basis for Maranta leuconeura factory breeding, also can provide reference for its belong to other types of tissue culture, has great practical significance.There are many systematic and detailed studies in the article including screening of the primary medium, screening of the proliferation medium, screening of the rooting medium, the effect of plant growth regulating substances on the various stages of tissue culture, the effect of light conditions on tissue culture proliferation, the effect of numbers of following passage on tissue culture proliferation, the effect of domestication process and transplanting medium on survival rate of transplants. The results indicate that:1. The effect of plant growth regulating substance on the priming rate and the average growth of Maranta leuconeura cultivars is obvious, of which the optimal primary medium for primary culture is MS+6-BA 3 mg/L+NAA 0.2mg/L.2. The optimal intensity of illumination scope for tissue culture of Maranta leuconeura plantlets is 1000 ~ 2000 LUX. The minimum intensity of illumination for the normal growth of plantlets is 1000 LUX. The maximum intensity of illumination which ensure plantlets with relatively higher proliferation coefficient is 2000 LUX. The optimal intensity of illumination time for tissue culture of Maranta leuconeura plantlets is 12h/d-14h/d.The minimum intensity of illumination time for the normal growth of plantlets is 12h/d.The maximum intensity of illumination time which ensure plantlets with relatively higher proliferation coefficient is 14h/d.3. There show the same effect tendency in plant growth regulating substance on the height and the proliferation of Maranta leuconeura plantlets. There are prominent promotion effect of 6-BA with suitable density to the hight and the proliferation coefficient of Maranta leuconeura plantlets, and the 6-BA is the dominating effect factor to proliferation.NAA has smaller effect than 6-BA on proliferation of Maranta leuconeura plantlets.The proliferation coefficient of Maranta leuconeura plantlets begin to decline from the sixth proliferation culture, so the plantlets should be renewed regularly during commercial production.The optimal proliferation medium of Maranta leuconeura plantlets is MS+6-BA2mg/L +NAA0.2mg/L.4. The effect of NAA on rootage of Maranta leuconeura plantlets is significant. IAA has smaller effect than NAA on rootage of Maranta leuconeura plantlets. AC with suitable concentration play a significant role in promoting rootage of Maranta leuconeura plantlets. The optimal rooting medium of Maranta leuconeura plantlets is MS+IAA 2 mg/L+NAA 0.3mg/L+AC 1.5g/L.5.Acclimation treatment can improve the survival rate significantly in the transplant of plantlets and is the indispensable process before transplant of Maranta leuconeura plantlets. The optimal matrix of the transplant of Maranta leuconeura plantlets is that Humus soil: perlite: vermiculite = 2:1:1.
