Thyroid hormone responsive spot14 (THRSP) gene was closely related to animal fat deposition. In present study, the animal liver samples containing 3 fat-type pigs (Dingyuan) and 5 lean-type pigs (Large White × Landrace × Duroc) were collected, the whole genome expression profiling of which were detected using microarray technology and Real-time Quantitative PCR Detecting System. The expression of the genes related to fatty deposition and . their association with the expression levels of THRSP gene were analyzed. The results showed that:1. The expression of THRSP in livers of fat-type pigs (RQ=72.717) is 8.341 times higher than that of lean-type pigs (RQ=8.718). The signal value of gene chip suggested that FASN and GLUT4 expression in fat-type pigs were significantly promoted (P<0.01) in comparison to lean-type pigs, ACACA, as well as RAB32 and RAB4A (P<0.05), while the mRNA level of RAB27A in fat-type pigs was significantly lower than that in lean-type pigs(P<0.05).2. Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the expression change of ACLY, GLUT4, ACACB, ME1, FASN, ACACA and THRSP, while negative correlation was observed between RAB27A and THRSP. There was no obvious correlation between PCK, RAB32, RAB4A and THRSP.3. Expression changes of at least 13 metabolic pathways depended on THRSP. The expression levels of the genes including insulin, insulin receptor, thyroid hormone receptor and iodothyronine deiodinase that were involved in regulating the expression of THRSP didn’t differ between the two pig-types (P>0.05).
