Large White pigs from a pig farm in Hebei Province were taken as the research project and the feed intake habits and the growth regulation were analyzed based on the data from FIRE with the breeding pig file of the farm for the fully use age of the detail data of feed intake and the body weight recorded by the automatic measuring equipment, to reveals the intake and growth law as well as provide the theoretical basis for drawing up the feed amount, management institution and adjusting genetic selection methods.(1) The affection of the batches(season), ages, weights to one-time occupancy, and one-time feed intake were analyzed by using multi-factor variance analysis method. The results showed that there were significant different between the one-time feed intakes and one-time occupancies in the different batches(season),ages and body weights(p<0.05).The one-time feed intake of Large White pig was 0.18±0.18 kg and the one-time occupancy was 7.23±6.63 min during the measuring period.(2) The correlation analysis on age, weight, one-time feed intake and one-time occupancy showed that there were significant positive relationship between the feed intake each time(FIET),age, weight and average occupancy each time(AOET) while the AOET had an extremely obvious negative relationship with the age and weight. For growing Large White pigs of 30-90 kg, the average daily feed intake(ADFI) had a positive relationship with the weight, average daily visits(ADV) and average daily occupancy(ADO) while a negative relationship with the AOET. The ADV had a positive relationship with the age and weight. The ADO and the AOET had a negative relationship with the weight.(3) The affection of the ages, weights to ADVI, ADV and ADO were analyzed by using multi-factor covariance analysis. The results showed that different ages and weights had a great impact on the intake behavior(p<0.05). The ADFI of Large White pigs(70-100 d, 100-140 d, 100-140 d) were 1.5806±0.59 kg, 2.17±0.70 kg and 2.49±0.87 kg respectively. The ADV of Large White pigs(70-100 d,100-140 d,100-140 d) were separately for10.74±4.78,11.39±5.71 and 12.84±5.87. The ADO of Large White pigs(70-100 d, 100-140 d, 100-140 d) were 94.45±35.37 min, 86.63±31.70 min and77.84±30.90 min respectively. The ADFI of Large White pigs(30-50 kg, 50-70 kg, 70-90 kg, 90-100 kg) were separately for1.74±0.26 kg, 2.12±0.25 kg, 2.45±0.24 kg and 2.73±0.42 kg. The ADV of Large White pigs(30-50 kg, 50-70 kg, 70-90 kg, 90-100 kg) were 13.71±4.05, 15.98±4.41, 16.37±5.95 and 16.42±5.81 respectively. The ADO of Large White pigs(30-50 kg, 50-70 kg, 70-90 kg, 90-100 kg) were 114.22±25.52 min, 108.80±27.48 min, 100.14±21.03 min and101.00±21.20 min respectively.(4) Active grade of the feeding behavior in the 24 hs was found based on the result of the ANOVA to the ADV and ADO of Large White. The result showed that occupancy and visits of 8:00-11:00、 13:00-18:00 were higher than those in the rest time.(5) Invalid feeding behavior(IFB) and short feeding behavior(SFB) in different time were used to analysis the feed intake law. Research result showed that sexuality significantly affected IFB and SFB(p<0.05). The occurrence frequency of IFB and SFB in the daytime was higher than that at night(p<0.05).(6) The affection of sexuality on average daily gain(ADG), back fat-corrected of weight at 100 kg was analyzed. The result showed that sexuality significant effects ADG and back fat thickness-corrected by body weight at 100 kg(BFTC)(p<0.05).Boar: ADG=788.81±95.22 g, BFTC=10.18±2.38 mm. Sow: ADG=820.62±102.91 g, BFTC=10.77±2.07 mm.(7) There were positive correlations between the body weight in the terminal measurement age and those in the stages ahead. The degree of association increased with the ages of the pig measured. The obvious inflection drop point of the correlation coefficients occurred in the 20 d and 32 d before the terminal measurement. Conclusions based on the analysis to the results above are as follow:(1) Feeding intake amount increases and occupancy decreased gradually with the increase of age. The occurrence frequency of feeding behavior in daytime is much higher than that at night. The peak time of the feed intake appears in am 8:00-10:00 and pm 14:00-18:00 period.(2) The gross style of the Large White in the stage of 30 – 100 kg body weight appears linear upward trend, but growth inflection points for a part of individuals may occurs in this stage.(3) The feeding system in 4 times daily in the artificial feeding condition is commanded based on the analysis of the intake behavior to the Large White in freedom feeding.(4) The terminal measurement time can be adjusted to above 85 kg of the body weight.
