The pig muscle fiber development decided to adult pig meat and meat quality. So that use the method of molecular biology, exploring the molecular mechanism of pig muscle fiber development is imperative, and also provide theoretical basis for molecular breeding in the future and the original molecule. This study SMPX and STARS genes as the research target, using fluorescence quantitative PCR technology, detection of large white embryo stage, the embryonic period of 60 days and 30 days into swine back waist muscle longest SMPX and STARS in the gene expression level. The experimental results show that the longest SPMX genes in embryonic period of 60 days back waist muscle amount of expression is the embryonic period of 30 days and adult large white is about 14 times. STARS genes in embryonic period of 60 days back waist muscle longest amount of expression is the embryonic period of 30 days and adult large white is about 8 times. The basic rule of the muscle fibers with a pig is developing. SPMX and STARS genes involved in large white muscle fiber of embryonic development.
