Micro-hillside caterpillar tractors, as a agricultural mountain farm power machinery, working in the complex environment and the poor condition of the hills and mountains, therefore, we should require that it not only has the basic features of general crawler tractors, but also should have a good trafficability performance on sloping field. Along with the increasing emphasis on the development of agricultural machinery in the hill and mountains, begin to be in-depth the research on the trafficability performance on sloping field, which can be able to provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance for improving the overall machine performance. In this paper, as follows:(1) Theoretica analysis on the trafficability performance of Micro-hillside caterpillar tractors on sloping field. Analysis of the in-depth study by the obstacle, the trenches, loose surfaces and lines through, and gives an evaluation of the quality of the trafficability performance on sloping field. which laid a theoretical foundation for evaluation of the quality of the trafficability performance on sloping field.(2) Micro-hillside caterpillar tractors multibody dynamics modeling. By making use of Pro / E software to draw three-dimensional geometrical model of Micro-hillside caterpillar tractors mountain, and building multi-body model in three-dimensional dynamics software RecurDyn. At the same time, we use the built-in ground in RecurDyn, set the relevant parameters established terrestrial dynamics model, and the final completing of Micro-hillside caterpillar tractors- Ground System Dynamics Model.(3) Analysis by simulation of the trafficability performance of the longitudinal on sloping field. By using the Multi-body dynamics simulation software RecurDyn, we establish the virtual prototype, and simulate the two most typical pavement in longitudinal on sloping field. Analysis of different vertical obstacle height, different speed, different slope, different soil types and different centroid position is affected to the the trafficability performance of the longitudinal on sloping field by Micro-hillside caterpillar tractors, the simulation results obtained sand( n?1.1) is more conducive to the longitudinal slope obstacle, at the same time, the experiments that it is a simple verification for the simulation results that the obstacle simulation model is remained the same with the actual test result.(4) Analysis by simulation of the trafficability performance of the transverse on sloping field. the use of orthogonal experiment method to simulate the two most typical pavement. Analysis of speed, ground type to impact of the trafficability performance of the transverse on sloping field and find the optimal combination. It can be drawn the largest factor is soil types(P<0.05) in the trafficability performance of the transverse on sloping field.
