Use three multi spike wheat varieties: Jimai22、Liangxing66、Shannong17,three large spike wheat varieties:Liaomai18、Tainong18、Linmai4 in Shandong Province promote as test materials, by analyzing the performance of its lodging,G,H,S and lodging index mutual relations with other stem traits at different densities, evaluate the strength of its lodging capacity, provide a theoretical basis for the high-yield and effective technology for Shandong Province promote wheat varieties,provide a reference for wheat breeding.The main results of study were followed:1. Lodging capacity strength of six varieties. Large spike varieties lodging capacity better than the multi spike varieties in these six wheat varieties. Lodging capacity strength were: Liaomai18> Tainong18> Linmai4> Liangxing66 Jimai22> Shannong17.Morphological characteristics of Liaomai18:the maximum mechanical strength stems, the maximum amount of dry matter, the thickest stem wall.2. The most suitable density for varieties and lodging index in other densities. Jimai22,Liangxing66 are in the D-density achieved the highest yield, in dough stage, Jimai22 fivedensity lodging index were: E(254.00)>D(210.01)>C(195.65)>B(192.44)>A( 191.32),Lianging66; E( 269.75) >D( 210.9) >C( 178.24) >B( 160.61) >A(153.19), Jimai 22, Liang Xing 66 in E density magnitude 2 lodging, Jimai 22 milk ripe stage D density magnitude 1 lodging. Shannong 17 density in C achieved the highest yield,The lodging index dough stage Shannong 17 five density conditions respectively: E(1580.40)>D(738.41)>C(520.5)>B(457.67)>A(399.25). In D, E density of Shannong 17 occur in 2 above the level of the lodging. Explain: In the condition of soil fertility environment similar, like Jimai 22 multi spike type cultivar, can choose 15-18 million/ acre basic density of seeding can obtain higher yield; Large spike cultivars, three large spike type cultivar yield is increased with the increase of planting density becomes greater, yield the largest value are made in million / acre under sowing quantity, in dough stage, Liaomai18five-density lodging index were: E( 138.28) >D( 129.26) >C( 124.93) >B(122.27)>A(119.96), Tainong18 five-density lodging index were: E(86.91)>D(81.65)>C(78.34)>B(77.18)>A(75.43), Linmai4 five-density lodging index were:E(102.2)>D(99.38)>C(94.37)>B(93.98)>A(92.93). The condition of thisexperiment, three large spike type cultivar did not lodging place. Visible, large spike cultivars can be appropriately increased sowing quantity, in order to obtain a higher yield.3. Relationship between morphological traits and stalk variety lodging.
