The high-efficient and high- yield cultivation technology is the necessary way to be stable supply of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge and to ensure quality. An effective way to provide quality provenance is an important content in the cultivation technology. By exploring a variety of factors on the effect of roots breeding of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge.we obtain the optimum conditions of root breeding of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge and increase germination rate of root. Effect of different parts, diameter of root and planting pattern on the yield and quality of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge provide theoretical basis for high yield and quality and the suitable planting patterns of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge.The paper includes the roots breeding of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.and yield and quality of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge after transplanting. Two different high- yield strains salvia miltiorrhiza were selected as experimental materials. Part, length, diameter, cutting depth, texture, and seedling planting distance are set in the roots breeding of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. Using single factor randomized block design of experiment, it is concluded that the best condition of salvia miltiorrhiza breeding by comparing the Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. root germination rate under different processing. Part, diameter, and planting pattern are set in yield and quality of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. We studied the dynamic accumulation of dry matter and active ingredient etc. The main results were as followed:1. The influence of different root processing of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. breedingComprehensive consideration of various factors such as cost, the late growth: in the strain 74,adopted reed head, used seedling medium for sand, all buried in 2 cm seedling distance bias; in the strain105, adopted reed head, the middle and lower part of root, 6 cm length, the diameter of 5-10 mm, used seedling medium for sand, all buried in 2 cm seedling distance bias is appropriate for the production of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. Germination rate of 105 is higher than that of 74.2. Effect of root parts on yield and quality of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.Yield of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. varies with parts of root. The maximum average yield per plant in the strain 74 were the central root and reed head. The three parts of the processing in the strain74 and 105, the accumulation of dry matter of the whole of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge increased firstly, then decreased. The accumulation of dry matter of the root increased with the growth period. The effective ingredients of 105 was higher than that of 74. The biggest effective ingredients was the middle of root. According to the yield and quality, choosing the middle of root was the best.3. Effect of root diameter on yield and quality of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.In the strain 74 and 105, with increasing of the root diameter, the average diameter and length of roots, the number of the root,the yield/plant, the accumulation of dry matter o f the root increased gradually. The yield of 74 was higher than that of 105. In the strain 74 and 105, the accumulation of dry matter of the root increased with the growth period. Except for tanshinone ⅡA, the other five kinds of effective ingredients in the strain105 were the highest under the diameter of 5-10 mm. In addition to the dihydrotanshinone, the other five k inds of effective ingredients in the strain 74 were the highest under the diameter of more than 10 mm.4. Effect of planting pattern on yield and quality of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.In the strain 74 and105, there was not significant differences between bias planting pattern and straight planting pattern under the yield of the plant. The accumulation of dry matter of the whole of the strain 74 and 105 single plant increased firstly, then decreased. The accumulation of dry matter of the root of the strain 74 and 105 increased with the growth period. The accumulation of dry matter of the root of the strain 105 single plant showed straight planting pattern > bias planting pattern,and the strain74 was contrary to the strain105. In addition to the tanshinoneⅠ, the other five kinds of effective ingredients in the strain105 showed bias planting pattern > straight planting pattern. In addition to the dihydrotanshinone, the other five kinds of effective ingredients in the strain 74 showed straight planting pattern > bias planting pattern.
