Application of slow-release fertilizer is an important measure to improve fertilizer useefficiency and reduce fertilizer production costs. In this experiment, normal maize cultivarZhengdan958and special maize Shancainuo301are used as materials, ordinary fertilizer isused as a control, four different controlled-release fertilizer are applied to study effects ofagronomic traits and yield of corn, and to explore the relationship between the proportion ofcorn yield and fertilization of coordination, improve corn fertilization mechanism, propose thebest solutions to optimize the economic administration in order to provide an effective basisfor corn fertilization. The test results are following shown.(1) With an equal amount of under ordinary fertilizer levels (375kg/hm2),controlled-release fertilizer’s NPK ratio of29:5:6makes maize yield the biggest increase, is12.82%than ordinary corn yield, especially for waxy corn yield, increase is24.57%.(2) Application of controlled release fertilizer increases the plant height, ear length,kernels per row, kernel weight, grain weight and other indicators, but reduce the length bald,delay the reduce of leaf area index during fertility late, there are multi-use light energyintercepted and playing an active role on maize grain filling. Different types of summer corn’syield constitutes have different contribute on yield.Kernel weight contributeds the most to thenormal corn yield, but seed rate has an important role on waxy corn on yield.(3) Application of controlled-release fertilizer makes of corn higher than applicationordinary fertilizer.In summary, in the same amount of fertilizer, the corn-release fertilizer can gain timeshigher production and efficiency than several conventional, and the application of fresh earyield of waxy corn has significant effect. Controlled-release fertilizer can be applied toachieve a base-application, lined with the trend of the corn cultivation techniques, so has agood promotion prospect in the future.
