Corn is one of China’s three major grain crops, and it is typical for precision planting.Precision seeding technology is the inevitable trend of development of agriculturalmodernization. therefore, reasonable to promote the use of precision seeding technology is akey technology to achieve income yield of maize. Precision seeder is a core component ofprecision planter work, seeding performance seeder sowing determines the quality of theplanter. Therefore, how to quickly and accurately detect precision seeder performance is thekey to accelerate the development of precision seeder.This paper summarizes current research on the basis of the analysis, according to thesystem requirements proposed design, by using of chip technology, computer technology,mechanical design theory, our goal is to design a kind of simple structure, small size, lowcost seeder performance testing platform for seeding. Seeding uniformity, the replay rate,leak rate, and sowing the seeds crushing rate of detection and analysis provide the basis forfurther improvement and development of China’s national conditions corn precision seeder.It also provides a teaching mechatronics equipment for the agricultural teaching. Specificcontents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Based on the requirements of seeding performance bench design, choose the programas a mechanical conveyor section design. Determine the performance of seed size andperform basic bench and verify the reasonableness of the motor speed.(2) According to the needs analysis of seedmeter performance test rig, identified theseeding test rig motor speed control programs and speed programs. By analyzing the pros andcons of different hardware options, identified the system hardware options.(3) According to the design requirements, the system is divided into signal detection andprocessing, human-computer interaction, actuator control of three modules; each modulehardware circuit was designed and produced a controller; using C language developmentenvironment in Keil μVision4various functional modules corresponding program, debughardware and software will successfully and combine the various functional modules and testthe entire system. (4) By testing and certificating system, LCD screen can realize the function of the workbench speed information displayed in real time; perform motor can be adjusted from stop tomaximum speed steplessly; experiment detects the maximum error of seeder speedmeasurement system is7.8%. System detected the maximum error of canvas with active rollerspeed is0.63%.(5) a spoon corn seeder is used to do the performance experiments, the conclusions are asfollows: In the certain dropping height and canvas belt speed, broadcast seeder leak rate, therate of seed crushing speed increases with seeder speedmeter increases; seeding uniformity,the replay rate with Seedmeter speed increases;when seeder speed and canvas belt speed is incertain circumstances, seeding uniformity decreases with the increase of dropping height,Seedmeter replay rate,the rate of leakage sowing and seed crushing rate are little influencedby the dropping height.
