ABSTRACT: Experiments were conducted in2010–2012at the Scientific andTechnological Park of Henan Agricultural University, Zhengzhou, Henan Province.Wheat cultivars of different gluten types, Zhengmai9023, Aikang58, Zhoumai18, andYumai50, were used as experimental materials to investigate the marginal effects ofroot development and physiological traits and grain quality indexes. The main resultsare as follows:(1)It is sure that the marginal effect of wheat secondary root number andphysiological traits. it showed a downward trend from the side1to side4, secondaryroot number and root fresh weight of Per plant or different tiller stem. The marginaleffect of the different varieties is difference, Aikang58> Zhengmai9023> Yumai18>Yumai50. change regulation of root vigor in wheat is side1lower than the other sidelines, marginal effect of different varieties are as follows: Aikang58> Zhengmai9023> Yumai18> Yumai50. Number of tillers of secondary root> number of main culmsecondary root. The number of secondary root in different varieties are follows: tiller Ⅰspike> tiller Ⅱ; the numbers of secondary root tillerⅠ and tiller Ⅱof side1are biggerthan other side lines. It is illustrated than the marginal effect is obviously in secondaryroot number of tiller Ⅰ and tiller Ⅱ.(2)It is sure that the marginal effect of per spike yield, different tiller ear yield and itscomponents in wheat. it reached significant level of per plant from side1to side4, Inaddition to the number of sterile spike lets, the marginal effect is significantly of otherfactors of yield. The yield of main culm is side1under side4,the yield of tillers isside1exceed side4.Research shows that, the marginal effect on yield per plant andsimple stem is bigger on Weak gluten cultivar. however, Strong gluten varieties issmaller. The increasing rate is3.24%,5.70%of the number of spikelets of tillerⅠ and1000grain weight, the increasing rate is1.38%,4.56%from side1to side2of thenumber of spikelets of tiller Ⅱand1000grain weight. Side1compared to side4, The increasing rate is5.13%~20.19%and5.55%~17.26%of1000grain weight of tillerⅠ and tiller Ⅱ in Zhengmai9023,Aikang58,Zhoumai18and Yumai50.(3)Discussion of the marginal effect of wheat quality was conducted. The change ofgrain protein content, total starch content, soluble sugar content are side1>side2> side3> side4. The increasing rate of protein content is10.3%~2.30%,The increasing rateof total starch content is18.85%~41.66%,in Zhengmai9023, Aikang58, Zhoumai18and Yumai50.two strong gluten cultivar of Zhengmai9023and Aikang58, Theincreasing rate of soluble sugar content11.28%,3.41%; however, two weak glutencultivar of Zhoumai18and Yumai50side1is lower than other sides. Sedimentation ofgrain flour is different in different varieties and different sides. Research also exploresthe differences of marginal effect between of grain nutrient quality of different tillerpanicle. Among them, the grain protein content increased with time, strong glutencultivar of tiller Ⅱ> main culm>tiller Ⅰ, medium and strong gluten varieties are tillerⅠ> main culm> tiller Ⅱ,medium gluten wheat and weak gluten cultivarsare tiller Ⅰ>main culm> tiller Ⅱ>main culm.Marginal effects of change trend of different varietiesof different tiller spike grain soluble sugar content: main culm>tiller Ⅰ> tiller Ⅱ. Theamplitude of flour sedimentation of different tiller spike stem are23.75~48.75mL;The amplitude of tiller Ⅰ are30.00~56.75mL;The amplitude of tiller Ⅱ are25.00~48.75mL.(4)To make clear the marginal effect of wheat on quality and yield, the differencereach significant level of grain yield, protein yield, starch yield in different varieties anddifferent lines, it is all downward trend from side1to side4. Marginal effect is differentin different varieties: the marginal effect of protein yield is biggest in the medium glutenwheat. For the yield of starch, the marginal effect of strong gluten cultivars is biggerthan t strong gluten and weak gluten cultivar varieties.
