With the development of the economic and people’s living standards, the goat productiontends to barn feeding, intensive and programmatic management, the challenge problem is howto simply and efficiently take advantage of the goats’ reproductive potential and produce largequantities of goat commodity. The goats’ thin tube insemination is a new method in artificialinsemination which doesn’t need professional and insemination equipment, it can make ewespregnancy in a short time with estrus synchronization technology. In this experiment, wemainly investigated the thin tube insemination technique and estrus synchronizationtechnology in Shaanbei white cashmere goats, initially established the estrus synchronizationand artificial insemination technology system on Shaanbei white cashmere goats seed farm.Results are shown as follows:(1) Selected the semen dilution of Shaanbei white cashmere goats. Collected the ram’ssemen with fake vagina, after checking the quality of semen, and diluted the qualified semenwith3different kinds of dilutions. Detected the vitality of the semen every12hours until thesperm thoroughly dead. Each dilution had3independent repetitions. The results showed thatsperm survival indexand total survival time were57.96±6.05,118.00±6.93h in the first group,respectively, which was significant better than the second group (40.80±3.12,90±6.93h) andthe third group (47.44±5.06,103.00±14.00h)(P﹤0.05). Therefore, we chosen the firstdilution to dilute semen of Shaanbei white cashmere goat.(2) Shaanbei white cashmere goats inseminated by thin tube insemination technologywith fresh semen. Semen was collected and qualified. The qualified semen diluted with thefirst dilution at proper proportion and dispensed into thin tubes for deep rut vaginalinsemination to estrus ewes.335goats were inseminated in this method,62goats returned toestrus after an estrous cycle interval, the rate of returned estrus was18.51%;258goatslambed, and the total pregnancy rate was77.09%. Contrasted to the results of past3years’breeding and lambing, the rate of total pregnancy increased, and the rate of returned estrusdecreased. (3) Synchronized the estrus in ewes. In breeding seasons,55bred shaanbei whitecashmere goats were injected twice with prostaglandin for estrus synchronization at intervalof10d in3groups. The rate of estrus goat was94.54%, and the returned estrus rate was19.23%after an estrous cycle interval, the rate of total pregnancy was67.31%.243shaanbeiadult white cashmere goats were treated with norethindrone vaginal suppository andgonadotropin for estrus synchronization. The rate of estrus goats was93.83%, and thereturned estrus rate was15.4%after an estrous cycle interval, the rate of total pregnancy was82.89%and the ewes’ estrus time concentrated at24~72hours after the treatment. Therefore,we can inject twice with prostaglandin at interval of10d to bred Shaanbei white cashmeregoats and use the norethindrone vaginal suppository supplied with gonadotropin to adultShaanbei white cashmere goats for estrus synchronization.
