| In order to talk about the effect of yield and nutrionalvalue on the three varieties ofalfalfa in the different times,three alfalfa varieties(Xinmu No.1,Xinmu No.2,Local alfalfa)were selected and mowed in the first crop (May15),the second crop (July18),the third crop(Octomber10) in2012,the first crop (April1),the second crop (April11),the third crop (May6),the fourth crop (May21),the fifth crop(June3),the sixth(June13)in2013. The fresh weight,the dry weight, the yield per unit area of the three varieties were calculated, and then the crudeprotein (CP), ether extract (EE), crude fiber (CF), crude ash (ASH), nitrogen-free extract(NFE), calcium (Ca) and phosphorus (P)7conventional nutrients were determined. Theresults were as follows:1.The fresh yield and hay yield of Xinmu No.2alfalfa and Local alfalfa weresignificantly higher than Xinmu No.1alfalfa in2012(P <0.05). The difference among XinmuNo.1alfalfa, Xinmu No.2alfalfa and Local alfalfa was not significant in the crude protein,crude fat, crude fiber, crude ash, nitrogen-free extract, and calcium (P>0.05). Base on cuttingtimes, the nutritional value of the first crop was better than the second and third crops.2. Xinmu No.1alfalfa, Xinmu No.2alfalfa were the highest of the fresh yield at theflowering stage in2013, Local alfalfa was the highest of the fresh yield at the initial bloomstage in2013. Xinmu No.1alfalfa, Local alfalfa were the highest of the hay yield at the initialbloom stage. Xinmu No.2alfalfa was the highest of the hay yield at the seed setting stage.Xinmu No.1alfalfa, Xinmu No.2alfalfa and Local alfalfa were the highest of the dry matterat the nutrition stage. Xinmu No.1alfalfa, Xinmu No.2alfalfa and Local alfalfa were thehighest of the crude protein at the turning green stage and the nutrition stage. Xinmu No.1alfalfa, Xinmu No.2alfalfa and Local alfalfa were the lowest of the crude fiber at the nutritionstage. The difference among Xinmu No.1alfalfa, Xinmu No.2alfalfa and Local alfalfa wasnot significant in the alcium in the different times(P>0.05). At the turning green stage,the drymatter,crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, crude ash, nitrogen-free extract,calcium andphosphorus were not significant (P>0.05). At the nutrition stage, the dry matter,crude protein,crude ash, nitrogen-free extract,calcium were not significant in (P>0.05). The crude fat of Local alfalfa were significantly higher than Xinmu No.2alfalfa (P <0.05). The crude fiber ofXinmu No.2alfalfa were significantly higher than Xinmu No.1alfalfa (P <0.05). Thephosphorus of Local alfalfa were significantly higher than Xinmu No.2alfalfa (P <0.05). Atthe flower bud stage, the dry matter,crude fiber, nitrogen-free extract,calcium and phosphoruswere not significant in (P>0.05). The crude protein of Xinmu No.2alfalfa were significantlyhigher than Local alfalfa (P <0.05). The crude fat of Local alfalfa were significantly higherthan Xinmu No.1alfalfa and Xinmu No.2alfalfa (P <0.05). The crude ash of Xinmu No.1alfalfa and Xinmu No.2alfalfa were significantly higher than Local alfalfa (P <0.05). At theinitial bloom stage, the dry matter,crude fiber, crude ash nitrogen-free extract,calcium andphosphorus were not significant in (P>0.05). The crude protein of Xinmu No.1alfalfa weresignificantly higher than Xinmu No.2alfalfa (P <0.05). The crude fat of Local alfalfa weresignificantly higher than Xinmu No.2alfalfa (P <0.05). At the flowering stage, the drymatter,crude protein crude fat, crude ash nitrogen-free extract,calcium and phosphorus werenot significant in (P>0.05). The crude fiber of Xinmu No.1alfalfa were significantly higherthan Xinmu No.2alfalfa (P <0.05). At the seed setting stage, the dry matter,crude proteincrude fat, crude fiber, nitrogen-free extract,calcium and phosphorus were not significant in(P>0.05). The crude ash of Xinmu No.1alfalfa were significantly higher than Xinmu No.2alfalfa and Local alfalfa (P <0.05).In summary, the yield and nutritional value of Xinmu No.2alfalfa were significantlyhigher than Xinmu No.1alfalfa, Xinmu No.2alfalfa could be planted in the large area of theLoess Plateau.The initial bloom stage was the highest of the yield.The nutrition stage was thehighest of the crude protein and the lowest of the crude fiber,so it is the best stage of thenutritional value.According to the principle of production and quality.The author think thatthe most suitable cutting times is the flower bud stage in the local area. |
