The Breeding And Spreading Of High Quality Wheat-JinTai170

Wheat is main crop in Shanxi Province. With the progress of social and the improvement of people’s living standard, the demand of high quality wheat is also growing. In recent10years, the wheat cultivation area in Shanxi is about10millions, but the proportion of wheat verities with good quality is very small. Shanxi food processing enterprises need to import large quantities of high quality wheat from other countries every year. This paper studied the breeding, spreading systems for high quality wheat variety JinTai170, hoping to provide a theoretical basis to the breeding and promotion of Shanxi high quality wheat. The results are as following.(1) Shanxi Province suits for production of high quality wheat. Shanxi has the ecological advantages endowed by nature for producing high quality wheat with good quality both in nutrition and procession. The protein, wet gluten and sedimentation value of wheat produced in Shanxi are higher than the wheat produced in Huang Huai Area. Breeding high quality wheat suitable for Shanxi is necessary. Compared with other areas, promotion and cultivation of high quality wheat in Shanxi have obvious advantages.(2) JinTai170is a wheat variety with good quality. JinTai170bred by Crop Science Institute, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences is a wheat variety approved by national committee. It has many good qualities such as protein content (16.49%), wet gluten (35.1%)、sedimentation value (60.6ml)、water absorbing quality (61.8%)、formative time (9.8min)、stabilizing time (21.2min) and stable quality. Its quality meets for standard for nation.(3) JinTai170has been spred in cultivation area by many methods. Research shows that good varieties needs reasonable spreading. If we spread the high quality wheat unresonablely, its life will be short. After breeding the wheat varieties that suitable for the market, spreading for them will be very important. At the background of favorable market conditions, the famers’enthusiasm of planting high quality wheat will improve largely. We believe that the varieties of the high quality wheat will be largely spred with reasonable way.
