| The objective of the study was to investigate the incidence regularity and preventive measures of dairy cow retained fetal membranes in large scale dairy farm.2441cows were chosen for learning the relationship between retained fetal membranes and the season of parturition, parity, gender of fetus, embryo number, fetal birth weight, calving location, uterine infection of gestation period, the gestation time, premature delivery and dystocia in order to determine the pathogenic characters during August in2013to March in2014.Experiment1:150parturient cows (400kg-600kg) were randomly assigned to1of3treatments in order to determine the effect of intramuscular vitamin ADE injection on incidence of retained fetal membranes, with each treatment having50cows. Cows were supplemented with10ml of vitamin ADE injection by intramuscular injection for antenatal30d treatment and15d treatment, and control group was provided0ml.Experiment2:200cows were chosen for investigating the effect of drenching preventative mixed solution on the prevention of retained fetal membranes. Cows were assigned to four treatments averaged50cows per treatment. The treatments were high dose drench group, middle dose drench group, low dose drench group and control. The preventative mixed solution consisted of calcium propionate, propylene glycol, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and magnesium sulfate were drenched within1h of post partum.The study found that the morbidity of retained fetal membranes was higher in hot or cold season. With the increase of parity, the morbidity increased, the morbidity of cow that delivery bull calf was higher than the cow that delivery cow, the morbidity of cow that delivery twins was higher than the cow that delivery one fetus, the normal range of the fetus was35kg~45kg, the morbidity in the normal range was lower than the abnormal ones, the morbidity of the cow that delivery in the delivery room was a bit lower than the cow that delivery in the playground, the morbidity of the cow that was infected in the gestation period was higher than the healthy ones, the morbidity of the cow that delivery abnormally was higher than the normal group, the morbidity of the cow that premature delivery was higher than the cow that full-time delivery. The morbidity of cow that was mogitocia was higher than the eutocia group. Give the cow intramuscularinjection of vitamin ADE15days before delivery, which has an effective influence of preventing retained fetal membranes. Take in calcium propionate magnesium sulfate et al within1h of post partum can has a preferably effect of preventing retained fetal membranes. |
