By using the Gold particles II cucumber varieties as test materials, through the different amounts of nitrogen fertilizer, determined related indicators of nitrogen metabolism and quality indicators of cucumber fruit and production. By analyzing the different topdressing urea quantity of nitrogen metabolic activity, cucumber fruit quality and production, draw the following conclusion:(1) Nitrogen in a certain range, the excessive of topdressing urea quantity cause leggy cucumber, leaf area increases;(2) Nitrogen in a certain range, the excess or lack of topdressing urea quantity decreased functional leaves NR activity, GS activity, GDH activity, soluble protein, free amino acids and chlorophyll content; the excessive of topdressing urea quantity increased nitrate content;(3) Nitrogen in a certain range, the excess or lack of topdressing urea quantity decreased cucumber fruit vitamin C content, free amino acids content, soluble protein content, carbohydra content; the excessive of topdressing urea quantity increased nitrate content.(4) The moderate amount of urea topdressing (750kg/hm2) can raise the NR activity, GS activity, GDH activity, and soluble protein content, free amino acids content, chlorophyll content of functional leaves, can raise the vitamin C content, carbohydra content, soluble protein content, free amino acid content of cucumber fruit, reduced cucumber plant height, leaf area, leaf nitrate content function, fruit nitrate and nitrite content.Therefore, nitrogen fertilizer750kg/hm2, the nitrogen metabolism,fruit quality and production performance good.
