| With the social and economic development, heavy metals Copper(Cu), Cadmium(Cd) pollution is getting worse, and endangered human health through the food chain. This study was based on the wheat breed of (Triticum aestivum L.) Aikang58as meterial, through indoor hydroponics experiment and screenhouse pot experiment. We studied the effect of growth and phyiological characteristics and Cu, Cd contents of plant by adding Silicon(Si) to the treatments of Cu or Cd. The concentration of Si was50mg/L by water culture tests and200mg/kg by plot comparison. The concentrations of Cu, Cd were20,40mg/L by water culture test and20,40,80mg/kg screenhouse pot experiment. Through the above research provided theoretical for poisoning effects of cadmiumand and copper on through inhibition of silicon. The main conclusions are as follows:1. The wheat growth was influenced under effects of adding Si into Cu and Cd stress. The results showed that the high concentrations of Cu or Cd can reduce shoot length, root length, dry matter and so on. By adding Si to the treatments of Cu(40mg/L), the shoot length, root length and dry matter were elevated by15.4,18.9,19.1%, compared to only treatment of Cu(40mg/L). Under the same concentration of Cd stress, the shoot length, root length and fresh and dry weight were elevated by22.2,3.90,9.10%, compared to the single of Cd (40mg/L).2. The physiological characteristics of wheat were influenced under effects of adding Si into Cu and Cd stress. The results showed that Cu or Cd stress could reduce the content of chlorophyll the activities of antioxidant enzyme(POD, SOD) and increased the content of MDA; Si application alleviated the toxicity of Cu, Cd to wheat and increased chlorophyll the activities of antioxidant enzyme(POD, SOD) and decreased MDA concentration in wheat.3. The content of Cu, Cd in wheat was influenced under effects of adding Si into Cu and Cd stress. Cu, Cd content increased with exogenous Cu, Cd concentration increased, under Cu, Cd stress in roots, leaves, and grains of wheat. Water culture experiment, the addition of Si to solution with Cu(20,40mg/L) could increase the content of Cu in roots by36.1,14.2%and the content of Cu in leaves of wheat by41.8,31.7%compared with the treatment of single concentration of Cu. In the same concentration of Cu, the addition of Si to solution with Cd (20,40mg/L) could reduce the content of Cd in roots by41.0,23.5percent and the content of Cd in leaves of wheat by30.2,22.1%compared with the treatment of single concentration Cd. In screenhouse pot experiment, effects of adding Si into different concentrations of Cu on the wheat grains during maturation stage were decreased a decline of35.7,0.50.,28.0%; the content of Cd in wheat grains during maturation stage was reduced a decline of35.9,51.8,35.5%.In summary, The addition of Si to solution with Cu, Cd could retard the inhibition of Cu, Cd to the increase of shoot length, root length, increase chlorophyll and the activities of antioxidant enzyme, decrease MDA concentration and the content of Cu, Cd in wheat. |
