| Coccidiosis is one of the important diseases which harm to the development of the poultryindustry constantly. The disease showed cosmopolitan distribution, and causes great economiclosses to poultry industry every year. The disease mostly infected mixed variety of coccidiosis,Eimeria tenella and Eimeria necatrix had the strongest pathogenicity. Eimeria tenella parasitizein the caecum,and harm to chicken mainly, cause high morbidity and mortality commonly. Inaddition to causing the death of the chickens, the recovered chickens showed retarded growth,low forage utilization rate, weight loss, more serious is that it can cause immune suppression,greatly increasing the chances of contracting other diseases. Currently, prevention and cure ofCoccidiosis mainly depend on the use of chemical drugs. However, with the increasing drugresistance to Coccidiosis,prevention and cure of Coccidiosis cannot achieve satisfactorytherapeutic efficacy. Lactobacillus is one of the important probiotics, which is crucial for theecological balance of the intestine, for instance, adjusted the structure of intestinal micro flora,induced intestinal immunity, improved animal intestinal structure, and growth-promoting effect.Now, the related researches about lactic acid bacteria have the effect on anti-parasitic, but seldomin Coccidiosis. Accordingly, this study aims to study the anti-coccidian effect of lactic acidbacteria, and provide theoretical reference to prepare anti-coccidian lactobacillus preparation.The10day-old chickens were divided into6groups randomly, and fed with compoundlactobacillus preparations10days in order to make them colonized in the intestine, the bodyweight changes of chickens,OPG value,caecum pathological changes scores,anti-coccidianindex, histological anatomy changes of intestinal tract and the influence on T cell subset ofperipheral immune organ were determined after artificial infected Eimeria tenella. The resultshowed that the body weights of chickens fed with compound lactobacillus preparationsincreased significantly, the body weights of chickens fed with single lactobacillus increased notsignificantly, weight loss Significant in each group after artificial infection coccidian, but therate of weight loss is lowest in the group of compound lactobacillus. OPG value and caecumpathological changes scores of the compound lactobacillus group are lower than other groupssignificantly. The anti-coccidian index of compound lactobacillus group is highest,157, but theATCC53103group is lowest,138. The histology result showed that the group which fed withcompound lactobacillus preparations had the least Coccidiosis content in intestinal tractepithelium. CD4+T and CD8+T cell subsets of the chicken fed with compound lactobacilluspreparations was significantly higher than control group after infecting Coccidiosis. These results show that the compound lactobacillus preparations have some depressant effect onEimeria tenella, and expected to become the alternative product of Anti-coccidiosis agent. |
