With four species of lily from Changbai Mountain as the experimental material in thisstudy, include L. lancifolium, L. cernum, L. dauricum and L. amabile, using potted, through thesoil treated with different pH values, measured and analysis of the variation of four species oflily growth and physiological index, determination of growth index including plants survivalrate, absolute growth height, bulb weight and tepals length and width, physiological indexincluding proline content, SOD activity, chlorophyll content, soluble protein content, soluble sugar content, cell membrane permeability, MDA content in leaves and the nutrientchange before and after processing in bulbs. Explore these four species of wild lily growingsuitable soil pH range, aims to make better protection of wild plant resources, propagation andcultivation, introduction and domestication and garden applications provide a theoretical basis.Comprehensive the study of the growth and physiological metabolism of the four speciesof lily concluded that:(1) Four species of lily are all died when the soil is strong acid or strong alkali. L.lancifolium can grow in the soil of weak acidic to alkaline, L. amabile can grow in the soil ofacidic to alkaline, the other two species of lily can grow in the soil of weak acid to weak alkali.(2) Four species of lily growth index increased with the increase of acid or alkali soil are onthe decline. L. lancifolium and L. amabile in the soil of weak acid to weak alkaline, L. cernumand L. dauricum in the soil of neutral, the increment of plant’s height, bulb’s weight, tetals’slongth and width is the largest relatively.(3) Four species of lily are in the soil of weak acid to weak alkaline, proline content,MDAcontent and cell membrane permeability of leaves are to maintain the lowest level,it isadvantageous to the synthesis of SOD, leaf chlorophyll, soluble protein and soluble sugar.(4) After soil pH stress treatment, four species of lily bulbs comparison treatment comparedwith before planting, water content reduce significantly, protein content, starch content andcarbohydrate content increased significantly. L. lancifolium in the soil of weak acid to neutral, L.cernum and L. dauricum in the soil of neutral, L. amabile in the soil of weak acid to weakalkali, water content the lowest, protein content, starch content and carbohydrate content thehighest. To sum up, in combination with four species of lily growth index, physiological index andthe material introduction area soil conditions: grow in the soil of weak acid to weak alkali, isadvantageous to the four species of lily normal growth, L. lancifolium in the soil of weak acid to neutral, L. cernum and L. dauricum in the soil of neutral, L. amabile in the soil of weak acid toweak alkali, the growth is best, the physiological metabolism is the most balanced.
