Flowering Five Kinds Of Lilium Biological Research

Lilium is a perennial in the lily family of liliaceae, with a total of about115kinds of wild lilyall over the world. It is based on L. Pumilum、L.dauricum、L.cernuum、L.lancifolium andL.leichtlinii var.maximowiczii5kinds of lilies of Garden teaching in Jilin agriculturaluniversity as he main research object.By field observation and the method of artificialpollination testing and, flowering ecological aspects of its reproductive biology and breedingsystems were more comprehensive system of research, for the ex-situ conservation, rationaldevelopment and utilization of propagation and cultivation, crossbreeding and other aspects oftheoretical basis. Main test results are as follows:1、The observation of flower department comprehensive characteristics and dynamicflowering shows that: the five kinds of lily flower concentrated in late may to early August,The L. Pumilum flowering around16d, single flower blooming for about5-7d; theL.dauricum flowering around14d, single flower blooming for about6-8d; the L.cernuumflowering around14d, single flower blooming for about4-5d; the L.lancifolium floweringaround20d, single flower blooming for about5-6d; the L.leichtlinii var.maximowicziiflowering around21d, single flower blooming for about5-6d.2、The Pollen viability and stigma receptivity: Under the condition of4℃, theL.Pumilum can maintain about42d, the L.dauricum and L.lancifolium can maintain about30d,the L.cernuum can maintain about39d, the L.leichtlinii var.maximowiczii can maintain about33d; about the stigma receptivity,L. Pumilum strongest in bloom1-3d, L.dauricum in bloom1-2d strongest L.cernuum flowers to bloom before the first2d strongest, L.lancifolium in bloom1-3d strongest, L.leichtlinii var.maximowiczii in bloom strongest2d.3、OCP and P/O: the tests show that the OCI of L. Pumilum is five, with P/O3051-12857; the OCI of L.dauricum is four, with P/O2274-6701; the OCI of L.cernuum is five,with P/O1557-5316; with P/O2274-6701; the OCI of L.lancifolium is five, with P/O877-4817and the OCI of L.leichtlinii var.maximowiczii is five, with P/O1855-5769, itexplains that’s all the5types of lily breeding system due to Obligate xenogamy.4、Strong type and relatively strong success rate: bagging and artificial pollination testresults show that the setting percentage of L. Pumilum were higher under Artificialcross-pollination and natural conditions,with53.25%and25.65%respectively, and artificial plant seed setting rate of cross-pollination was CK increased by2.07times; Pollinate theflowers and artificial homologous strain cross-pollination of seed setting rate are low, only1.21%and1.21%, it shows the L. Pumilum breeding system of different, need to pollinators.L.dauricum seed setting rate was36.98%, under the condition of natural pollination slightlyhigher percentage is40.78%, the flowers that L.dauricum pollinate the flowers with highaffinity, artificial homologous strain cross-pollination seed setting rate is low (2.68%), andartificial vision of cross-pollination seed setting rate (27.75%) and natural conditions of seedsetting rate is close to, MAO lily breeding system for partial selfing affinity, different, need topollinators. L.cernuum is similar to L. Pumilum, under the natural conditions and artificialvision of cross-pollination seed setting rate were higher, at22.13%and20.9%respectively,pollinate the flowers and artificial homologous strain cross-pollination of seed setting rate arelow, at4.62%and8.42%respectively.The results showed that the L.cernuum breeding systemfor different delivery, need pollinators. L.lancifolium under the natural conditions andartificial homologous strain cross-pollination, artificial vision of cross-pollination andpollinate the flowers are not strong, it shows that the L.lancifolium are different types ofphenomena. L.leichtlinii var.maximowiczii seed setting rate was15.56%, under the conditionof natural pollination higher seed setting rate was28.23%, the flowers artificial homologousstrain cross-pollination rate low9.39%, and the artificial homologous strain cross-pollinationrate lower than artificial vision of cross-pollination seed setting rate (22.5%), suggesting thatL.leichtlinii var.maximowiczii breeding system for partial selfing affinity, different, and needto pollinators. And field observations show that L.Pumilum、L.dauricum、L.cernuum、L.lancifolium and L.leichtlinii var.maximowiczii have insect pollination, and big steamed rollsfor insect pollination.
