With the continuous development of economy and society, soil degradation becomeincreasingly prominent, the performance of the firm for soil and hardening, erosion,salinization, acidification, elemental imbalance, chemical pollution, loss of organic matter anddegradation of the flora and fauna, seriouslimits the productivity of land development. Theapplication of soil conditioner is one of the important measures to repair the degraded soils, itcan effectively improve soil physical and chemical properties and soil nutrient status and soilmicrobes have a positive impact, thereby enhancing the degradation of soil productivity.Therefore, the strengthening of research and application of soil conditioner to combat soildegradation has a very important theoretical and practical significance.On the basis of previous studies, the tomatoes、rapes and cucumbers were chose as ourtest crop. The cultivation combination of field and greenhouse were conducted. The effectMAIFAN stone as one kind as soil conditioners on crop were studied. Though two yearexperiments and analysis, the following conclusions were gained:1. Effects of Maifan stone as soil conditioners on growth and nutrients absorption inRape: Medical stone in certain extent could increase the biomass of the rape. In the potexperiment, increasing rate in low content of Maifan stone (10g/kg) and high content (20g/kg) was21.84%and10.58%respectively. Compared high content of Maifan stone (20g/kg)when low content of Maifan stone (10g/kg) is applied, N, P, K nutrient absorption efficiencyis obviously higher, N K P uptake by root and the nutrient content in leaves and stems wassignificantly improved.2. Mainfan stone could eliminate the heavy metal pollution of chrome: In the chromepollution treatments, with the increase application of medical stone, biomass was increased(11.56%), chlorophyll and N, P and K content in the leaves also increased.3. Maifan Stone as soil as soil conditioners on growth and nutrients absorption intomatoes: Medical stone could improve the disease resistance of tomato; reduce soil bulkdensity and increase soil porosity, promote the formation of aggregate structure; to increasesoil available nutrient content; increase soil CEC; conducive to the development of roots andleaves and increase the biomass of tomatoes. Application of Maifan stone increased the production output was more1.6times than the regional application.4. Effects of Maifan stone as soil conditioners on growth and nutrients absorption incucumbers: Application of Maifan stone could improve physical and chemical characteristicsof soil and increase the production output of cucumbers.
