Studies On The Prevention And Treatment Of Riemerlla Anatipestifer Disease In Jinshan

Riemerella anatipestifer is the pathogens of the infectious serositis ofduck, main serious harm of the ducklings of1-7week age. The RA bacteriacause the disease also known as Pasteurella anatipestifer disease, new duckdisease, syndrome and sepsis disease of duck et al. We system studies theRiemerella anatipestifer disease of Jinshan District in recent two years, weseparated the area advantage strains of the Riemerella anatipestifer anddetailed study the physiological and biochemical identification and drugsensitivity test of the RA, the results showed that, a total of18strains from28strains of suspected were not ferment glucose, maltose, fructose, lactose,mannitol, can liquefy gelatin, the results of urea test were negative, do notproduce hydrogen sulfide, catalase positive. According to the bacterial colonyand morbidity, we can preliminary judgment that, these18strains of abovetest for positive were Riemerella anatipestifer; from the results we candetermine that, the incidence rate was18/200. All of the18strains of RAwere above moderately sensitive with norfloxacin and lincomycin, it showed that norfloxacin and lincomycin can become the first choice of drug fortreatment of this disease in this region, secondly, more than50%of thestrains showed a high sensitivity with penicillin, chloramphenicol,erythromycin, Doxycycline, spectacular and kanamycin, so, there drugs canbe used as the main choice of drugs for treatment of the RA disease of thisregion,18strains of RA were not sensitive with enrofloxacin andcephalosporin. In the second part of this study, we used a home-made herbal“Anti-RA-soup” carried as the drug for treament the RA disease, we testedfor laboratory germicidal and clinical trials, the experiment showed that,4different concentrations of this home-made herbal “Anti-RA-soup”showedhigh effect, the0.25g/mL of concentration was the best inhibitory effect. Inthe clinical treatment,17ducklings of the infected but untreated controlgroup, mortality was56%, the treatment group only a few ducks showedclinical symptoms, which the group of treatment with home-made herbal“Anti-RA-soup”were4ducklings death, the treatment efficiency was80%,while5%of norfloxacin injection treatment group dead3. with a cure rate of83%. The efficiency between the group of treated was noobvious differences(P>0.05)，the results showed that, the home-made herbal“Anti-RA-soup”has a good treatment effect, it is worth popularizing.
