High speed is an important development direction for reconnaissance and strike integrated Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV). It has higher battlefield survivability, and ability to improve fighting efficiency significantly due to its rapid, covert precise strike capability, and adaptability to modern war. The combat operation mode, attack process parameters design, vehicle-missile compatibility and attack precision The design method of high speed reconnaissance and strike integrated UAV are very different from low speed reconnaissance and strike integrated UAV in many aspect, like combat operation mode, attack process parameters design, vehicle-missile compatibility and attack precision. These differences mainly come from its high flying altitude and fast flying velocity. Therefore it is necessary to do further studies to give a reference to the engineering development of high speed reconnaissance and strike integrated UAV.This paper is based on a study of a high speed UAV attacking on the ground target using accurate missile. First, a high speed reconnaissance and strike integrated UAV system was built. And the relationship of information transmission between components in this UAV system was analyzed. Through the research on the combat mode of the reconnaissance and strike integrated UAV, a typical battle process was proposed. Then key parameters in reconnaissance and strike task of high speed UAV were computed and analyzed. The design of target locating algorithm, locating error distribution and attack precision analysis were c ompleted. Through a numerical simulation the accuracy of reconnaissance and strike was proved to meet the demands. Then a three dimensional solid models of UAV and airborne weapon were built to use in a numerical simulation of unsteady flow field d using commercial CFD software, the trajectory of missile separating from UAV in uncontrolled state was obtained. The simulation result showed that airborne weapon can separate from UAV safely. The influence of launching missiles on UAV flight state was analyzed by mathematical simulation method and the result indicated that the influence is slight. The safety of UAV carrying and launching small-sized guided bomb was validated preliminarily by rocket sled test. A UAV flight test was set up to verify the ability of reconnaissance and strike integrated combat process with airborne weapon, key parameters design of target tracking, location and attack, the safety of the airborne weapon separation, the accuracy of reconnaissance and strike.
