| Aviation wire rope has high fatigue performance, high surface quality and low elongation, etc. It has a very wide range of application scope: industrial and civil, aviation, etc. With the rapid development of aviation supplies areas and elevator industry, the requirement for aircraft cable accessories for production is higher and higher. Especially for aviation wire rope’s fatigue life is puts forward higher request. High fatigue life of aircraft cable is the inevitable trend. Based on the basis of statistical analysis to the fatigue damage fracture of the aviation wire rope,the paper analysis the influence between the parameter and work hardening behavior performance. From the different heat treatment galvanization craft, different drawing craft and different strands of structure design, three aspects of influence on aviation wire rope fatigue life are discussed. Optimized manufacturing technique and structure of strand can be used to improve the actual production of the aviation wire rope. The conclusion is as follows:Analysis the common fatigue damage fracture,it including raw material inclusions, the manufacturing process, surface abrasion. The main reason of fatigue damage is the damage in the process of manufacturing.We make a careful study to each of these reason for fatigue damage,and determine the direction of the optimized.Study the morphologies and mechanical property of galvanized layer between hot dip galvanized and electric galvanized. Study the work hardening behavior in different processes.Found the morphologies uniformity of patenting is superior to water quenching,it has highter index of work hardening. Hot dip galvaniz ed has a brief recovery process,so it,s plastic and the index of work hardening increase.Study the morphologies and mechanical property of the different drawing process.Found the steel wire has the best performance of torsion when the total compression ratio reach 97%,and it has the maximal product of strength and ductility, reach 12464MPa%.Determine the optimum technological condition combination is the 1.2mm steel wire by hot dip galvanized after patenting. Design the strand with W structure,and verify the aviation wire’s fatigue performance with W structure strand is superior toaviation wire with average structure. |
