Theoretical Research And Application Of Reinforced Soil Segmental Retaining Wall In High-speed Railway

The reinforced soil segmental retaining wall has been widely used in the field of reinforced wall, due to its many unique advantages. With the progress of technology,high speed railway began to spread rapidly. but as we all know, the requirement of the embankment of high speed railway is very strict. At present, there aren’t many applications of reinforced soil retaining wall in high speed railway, the application of reinforced soil segmental retaining wall are much rarer. Firstly, this article carried on a brief introduction of the reinforced soil retaining wall on its present situation. Then analyzed the field measurement data. And we build a finite element model for further analysis. Here’s the main content:(1)This article has introduced America national concrete masonry association’s latest design concepts about the reinforced soil segmental retaining wall. According to the failure forms, we should calculate the stability of the retaining wall in different respects. The construction technology of the reinforced soil segmental retaining wall is also introduced in this paper. Its main characteristic is the masonry of module.(2)Based on a reinforced soil segmental retaining wall in Qing Dao-Rong Cheng high speed railway, we collected soil pressure, horizontal deformation, vertical settlement data to research whether the reinforced soil segmental retaining wall in high speed railway is stable and reliable.(3)Referring to the actual project, we established a finite element model using Plaxis to simulate the performance of the retaining wall. Then compare it to the actual project to verify the reliability of the model test.Integrating the data analysis and finite element simulation results, the reinforced soil segmental retaining wall has shown good performance in the application of high speed railway. It is proved that the application is very potential.
