The smart grid is a new type of power grid; it highly concentrated the original information, communications, computer, and measurement technology. This topic with synchronous measurement system as the research object focuses on the following aspects:(1) synchronous vector measurement algorithm research:theory of synchronous phasor measurement system of measuring device can achieve synchronous measurement, but there is a error in practical application. This topic will analyze the traditional algorithm in detail, analyzes its practical, and tries to put forward an improved algorithm, the accuracy of the phasor measurement and frequency increased. (2)-PMU-2 configuration scheme:traditional-PMU-2 configuration scheme only consider-PMU-2 device in the system, to improve the precision of state estimation, for the purpose of using SCADA system is completely observable concept, make the whole system is completely observable, obtained using search method.Organization structure of this paper:this paper is divided into five parts. Part 1 is the introduction part, first of all, it elaborates the research background and significance; Part 2 of synchronous vector measurement algorithm to make research study; Part 3 synchronous phasor measurement unit (-PMU-2) system design, the synchronous phasor measuring elaborates the communication system software and hardware Settings; Part 4-PMU-2 configuration scheme of smart grid research, detailed-PMU-2 configuration scheme, and optimize the configuration of the algorithm is introduced, in the smart grid, synchronous phasor measuring transmission mode. The last part is conclusion.Based on synchronized phasor measurement and transmission of several key problems as the research object, is to adapt the demand of the smart grid as a guide, is expected to highlight the innovative in the following respects. Are all kinds of synchronous vector measure the merits of the algorithm in measuring accuracy and real-time performance, makes every effort to improve algorithm, emphasizing practical; Device-PMU-2-PMU-2 with the existing SCADA system are considered in the supplement, play the advantages of the existing SCADA system, saving investment, emphasizing practical; Synchronized phasor measurements taken in the design of communication system of data compression method is innovative.
