Modern power structure is becoming more and more complex. Large unit, large power grids, EHV AC and DC transmission distance,wide application of new technologies and market-oriented operation mechanism is becoming its main characteristics. It is proved that there are new security challenges for modern power system and it is more and more important to monitor and control the grid. The phasor of generatrix voltage is the main status parameter to reflect the stabilization of the system, the real-time measurement of phasor will provide important proof for security and stable control. So the real-time measurement of this parameter will be a fundmental question in the process of stable monitoring and control of power system. This thesis researches this problem.The author analyzed the phasor measurement principle and method in detail based on the ready conclusion of development and applications of PMU, and made Comprehensive comparison of the zero-crossing detection method, least squares method, Fourier transform algorithm their own characteristics From many angles, such as processing speed and accuracy. recursive algorithm.By using Fourier phasor detailedly measurement methods In view of the frequency shift of the phasor measurement accuracy using fundamental phasor separation compensation algorithm The small increase in the amount of computation and improve the measuring accuracy. guarantee a constant sampling rate at the same time achieve high-precision phasor measurements. The experimental results show that the method is feasible. The thesis also presents the hardware and software design, and then integrates the existing transmission network structure, Detailed analyzes the network of PMU, and brings out a effective method to realize data transmission with Ethernet.In short, author summed up some questions which he encountered in the research on some key technologies of PMU, I believe it can serve as a reference for future similar role in the development of the device.
