In recent years,The air burst point position measurement near the ground is a hot research direction. In the new weapon system, the explosion location of the burst point above the target is an important indicator to measure the pros and cons of the weapon performance. It is difficult to obtain the precise spatial location of the burst point because the range test environment is usually more complex and projectile points are diverse. Currently, projectile points are measured by using the TV theodolite with a large field. But the system cannot be spread because it is large and expensive. It is necessary to research the economical and practical detection system.The passive acoustic detection technology covers many disciplines and it is a new technology in the location system. In the reality,the sound field environmenvironment is complicated.and the sound signal is special. In this paper, combined with the actual situation, from the view of reducing the hardware cost and improving the position measurement accuracy, the acoustic array detector with five sensors in the air burst point position measuring system is designed; the geometric model of the acoustic array detector is established; the location algorithm is deduced; and factors such as the arrangement pitch of the acoustic sensor and the target azimuth bringing the position measurement error are analyzed and simulated.In this paper, the acoustic field and the acoustic characteristic are introduced and the acoustic wave influenced by environment factors is discussed in the process of propagation. The time delay estimation algorithm affecting the accuracy of the measurement system is researched and the advantages and disadvantages of several common algorithms are compared. The generalized cross-correlation method is used in the time delay estimation algorithm. The geometry model and mathematical deduction of the cross acoustic array with five sensors are put forward. In the measurement system, hardware parts are designed, including introduction and selection of acoustic sensor, the acoustic signal conditioning circuit and the timing module with the core of SCM, and the entire circuit is tested. The indoor experimental platform and the outdoor experimental platform are established to make the system verification. The internal and external factors affecting the experimental error are analyzed.Experimental and simulation results show that the cross array air burst point position measuring system with five sensors proposed in this paper is simple and low cost, improving the distance accuracy and the direction accuracy of the air burst point. The research makes a foundation for the acoustic location technology and the research has the practical significance.
