The vertical target test system can measure the speed and impacting coordinates of the flying target, but the external factors often make the measurement results incorrect and the lower test accuracy, otherwise the virtual simulation technology is development rapidly, it’s still not a perfect three-dimensional dynamic scene to assist the acceptance of the experiment. So, this paper studied the methods of the related content and the data acquisition for the more accurate test data and designed the 3D simulation to assist the experiment process.Based the principle of the vertical target test system, this paper constructed the mathematical model of the spatial structure of the four light curtains vertical target test system, and collected the experimental data of the vertical target test system, applied Leyenda standard to eliminate the abnormal data, studied the improved LMS adaptive algorithm based on the principle of the adaptive algorithm, this method used the error correlation value adjusted step factor automatically to replace the single-step factor in order to obtain the best effective. For the extraction time of the projectile through light curtains, the paper improved the correlation algorithm based on correlation principle, and the simulation result verified the authenticity of the algorithm. In order to facilitate visual observation and analysis of experimental results, this paper designed the data acquisition system based on the acquisition card and industrial computer to implement the data collection, and designed the filter module and the time of projectile through the light curtains module to achieve the filter and extraction time features; then designed the database module for realizing the data storage, delete, backup and restore to facilitate query and analyze data. For the 3D dynamic scene simulation, this paper first built and optimized the 3D models by a modeling tool Creator, used the MFC framework combined Vega Prime to design main interface and functionality of the simulation, and designed the multiple channel windows on the main view window from different angles for observing the scene more convenient, then used the impact detection function to detect an impact between the projectile and the light curtain, designed the response of the impact detection, finally completed the driving and rendering of the scene.The simulation results showed that, the data processing effect of Leyenda is obvious to high-frequency noise, and the filtering effect of adaptive filter algorithm based on automatic adjustment step had better effect than fixed step. Through several experiments and the contrast analysis of the results, we can know that, the coordinate values calculated by related algorithms are closer to the target coordinates than the values calculated by trigger pulse methods, the measurement accuracy of related algorithm is higher than the trigger pulse measurement, effectively improve the accuracy of the test experiment. At the end, the three-dimensional scene simulation reproduces the experiment process of the vertical-target test experiment really, and the simulation scene is basically in line with the expectation.
