Car occupants to ride comfort has been an important research topic in the process of the development of modern automobile. Compared with cars, military vehicle driving road conditions is much more complicated and harsh. And the use of military vehicles is often accompanied by a variety of combat reconnaissance missions. So reduce cars driving by vibration, to better perform combat mission and improve battle effectiveness is necessary. Based on tank seat as the research background, this paper complete design a vibration isolator based on magnetorheological elastomers (MREs) from the theory of design, simulation analysis and experiment validation of these three aspects. Specific work is as follows:(1) Based on the magnetorheological damping principle and the design principle of vibration isolator, the mechanical structure of the vibration isolator is designed. And this paper design the shape of the magnetorheological elastomers and size according to the structure of vibration isolator.(2) According to the size of the shape of the magnetorheological elastomers and preparation of magnetic circuit of the request, I designed two sets of mould preparation. This article has carried on the magnetic circuit simulation of magnetic field generator. Simulation results of the magnetic field strength around 666.95 mT to 1778 mT. The results meet the requirements of designed magnetic field generator to produce IT magnetic field.(3) Natural rubber as the matrix, this paper use a new method to make a body made of device and elastomer for the need of the magnetorheological elastomer vibration isolator. Two groups of performance contrast tests have been carried out on the material sample. The results show that:Isotropy of the magnetorheological elastomers of magnetorheological effect is higher than anisotropy of the magnetorheological elastomers of magnetorheological effect; Different types hydroxy iron powder have influence on magnetorheological effect.(4) Vibration isolator magnetic circuit is designed. This paper calculates the number of turns of the coil. The design of magnetic circuit are analyzed in the simulation. The simulation results show that the magnetic field generated by the magnetic circuit design strength meet the requirements of the magnetic field strength of 0.6T.(5) The vibration isolator is installed on the seat model and experiment on the vibration table. The experimental results show that A from 0 to 1.5 A, seat stiffness change of the system is 69.43 kN/m, rate is 21%; 1.5 A current relative to the situation of 0 A current magnetorheological effect can reach 21%.
