With the rapid development of science and technology, the function’s objective of Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope(DPO) is higher and higher, but the oscilloscope’s users are paying more attention to the experience of man-machine interaction. In this thesis, DPO is designed using DSP(Digital Signal Process) and FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array). This project is aim to improve the function of the oscilloscope, therefore this thesis, it uses the message mechanism which is able to generate different messages and make appropriate responses with the parameters changing to realize the design of interface and the hardware’s response. In this project, in order to meet the demand of the display of the oscilloscope, the font is designed by software engineer. The oscilloscope interface can display multilingual languages. In addition, this thesis also analyzes and summarizes the advantage of the message mechanism in the design of the interface and the hardware’s response respectively.Based on Qt Creator, this project realizes the research of the software. It has several points below to study:1. Completion of the software development platform so as to analogue the interface and the keyboard of the oscilloscope, providing a good software environment for the subsequent application development, making the software not dependent on the hardware platform. The objective of this design is to make software testing more and more convenient.2. Work out the design of the oscilloscope’s interface based on message processing. This project first analyzes the requirements of the oscilloscope’s interface and then according to the requirements, the layout of the interface is planned, the structure of the interface, the dialog box and the menu is designed reasonably. Furthermore, this thesis implements the design of the interface using software. Software engineer, on the basis of needs of the interface and display, designs the multilingual text files for fonts. The generation software creates the binary font files of multi-languages. In this project, the display of the font is realized based on the message processing. The font files of multi-languages support the internationalization of the oscilloscope. This thesis analyzes the advantages of the message mechanism in the design of the interface. The design of the interface based on the message mechanism improves the rate of refresh and provides a more harmonious experience of man-machine interaction for the oscilloscope’s users.3. Work out the design of the oscilloscope’s hardware’s response, which based on message processing. This project analyzes the capabilities of the hardware firstly and then, the hardware’s functions are defined. Furthermore, the hardware’s commands are divided in order to generate the table of the hardware’s functions and the hardware’s commands. Finishing the design of the hardware’s response, based on the message mechanism. Besides, this thesis analyzes the advantages of the message mechanism in the design of the hardware’s response. The design of the hardware’s response, based on the message mechanism reduces the coupling between the parameters and the hardware and improves the rapid of the hardware’s response.Using the message mechanism to design the interface and the hardware’s response has completed and improved the rapid of the interface’s refresh and the hardware’s response. The oscilloscope shows the functions accurately and provides a better experience of man-machine interaction for the oscilloscope’s users.
