Spectrum Analyzer is an essential means of radio signal measurements and a common tool in the electronic communications product development and production. In order to meet the application requirements for the rapid burst interference signal test, hopping system test, frequency agile radar system test, electronic warfare systems test, the study of real-time spectrum analyzer that can meet the need of rapidly changing needs test is become more and more important. Real-time spectrum analyzer put forward higher requirements to the performance of platform architecture, it requires a platform with a higher data processing speed and flexibility.In order to meet the needs of real-time spectrum analyzer for high speed and high flexibility in terms of baseband data processing, this paper put forward a scheme that collaborative processing the baseband data with AP-SOC. Coarse-grained decompositioning the spectrum analysis computing tasks,then mapping the computing tasks to the hardware logic resources of AP-SOC,finaly controlling data processed in each hardware accelerator pipelining using on-chip dual core processor. The hardware is used to deal with the time-consuming mathematical operation, the software is used to deal with the complex decision and control, by this way,the hardware logic design is more similer and data processing speed is faster. Through the software and hardware collaborative processing method, it can not only guarantee the high speed real-time of data processing, but also has the flexibility of decision and control. The baseband processing speed of this paper can meet the requirements of real-time analysis bandwidth of 50 MHZ. In order to realize the above scheme, this paper mainly studies the following parts:1,Measuring and analyzing the time consumption in the process of spectrum analyzer,and finding out the best method of coarse-grained decompositioning,and accelerating the process of coarse-grained computing tasks using hardware,then design a software layer on the calling of hardware IP core to make the hardware process like software.2, According to the independent characteristics of each hardware IP core,put out a design that data processing the data pipelining on each hardware IP core.3.Finished the work of the hardware IP core logic design, drive design, API software library package and software design data processing pipelining.4.Realized the interface driver between AP-SOC and AD9361,and continuous data collection,then carried out Real-time signal processing use the above spectrum analysis algorithm.This paper implements the operation method on software layer and hardware layer,assessments the various factors that can influence the processing speed in the operational process,and local test and analysis each module.Finaly,verify the feasibility of the solution. Finally, it is tested on the hardware platform,and achieved the expected analysis bandwidth.
