As broadband wireless communication technology widely used to solve complex problems of broadband test signal,broadband real-time spectrum analysis technology came into being.Broadband real-time spectrum analysis will produce hundreds of thousands of spectrum per second,how to handle and transmit such a large amount of data,and make the data real-time display at real time is the key to real-time spectrum analyzer design.On the other hand the application of coding,modulation technology produces a large number of occasional signals,a brief occurrence of events,how to help testers identify and observe these events is the real-time spectrum analysis of technical points.In view of the above two technical problems,this thesis uses the overlapping frame and the 3D spectrum to realize the real-time processing and display of the signal spectrum while completely preserving the signal spectrum information.Overlapping frame technology effectively eliminated the window effect.3D spectrum compression technology is a period of time 2D spectrum data compressed to a frame of 3D spectrum data,greatly reducing the amount of spectrum data,is conducive to real-time processing of the spectrum.The 3D spectrum can also show all the details of the spectrum for a period of time at the rate acceptable to the human eye,which is conducive to the identification of the event.In order to improve the instrument's ability to observe transient events,the project also designed a three-dimensional digital persistence display.The real-time spectrum analyzer designed in this thesis has a maximum bandwidth of 160 MHz and a real-time analysis bandwidth of up to 80 MHz.In this thesis,the use of hardware resources and logical timing are analyzed in detail,and the corresponding optimization methods are given.On the developed broadband real-time spectrum analyzer,the thesis uses a variety of signals to test the characteristics of overlapping frames and 3D compression of spectrum,and gives the test and analysis results.
