Recently, countries of the world have called for energy conservation and environmental protection, then, the technology of energy conservation and environmental protection is encouraged to study and apply. Free- inducing heating technology as a newly heating technology not only can save energy, but can protect environment, which in line with the national development concept. The subject of the paper is free- inducing heating intelligent control technology based on FPGA. In the environment of pursuing intelligentization and integration, the heating technology introduced in the paper was more efficient and controllable compared with the traditional free- inducing heating technology, in addition, it possesses an enormous application and research value.In this paper, based on deeply study the free- inducing heating technology and FPGA technology, we successfully designed and applied this heating technology into the intelligent control system of free induction heating induction cooker. Hardware circuit of the control system mainly includes free- inducing heating main circuit, data acquisition circuit, main control chip circuit, display circuit and other peripheral circuits. Among them, Altera company’s EP4CE15F17C8 chip was adopted as main control chip, through changing the duty ratio of PWM wave to control the output power of the system. The free induction heating intelligent control system designed in this paper is mainly based on the modular design idea. According to the function demand, the whole system is divided into two parts, namely, the data processing module which is responsible for data processing and the control module which is responsible for controlling external devices. Data processing module can be further divided into three sub-modules, including the FFT function module which is responsible for data FFT transform, the magnitude calculation module which is in charge of calculating amplitude and the working frequency calculation module which is responsible for determining the amplitude of the touch computing module and the resonance frequency. Finally,the data processing module can realize FFT processing of the sampling data transmitted from the front end of A/D to obtain the resonance frequency of the feedback signal. The control module consists of 8 sub- modules including the clock module, the power control module, the A/D sampling module, the data storage module, the pot testing module, the key module, the protection module and the display module. Here, the clock module is responsible for clock division and doubling, the power control module is responsible for system power output, the A/D sampling module is responsible for data acquisition and judgment, the data storage module is responsible for store the data from the feedback signal, the pot testing module is responsible for detecting the presence or absence of the pan, the key module is responsible gear selection and on/off control,the protection module is responsible for driving the fan and buzzer, the display module is responsible for the running of the display system.The program module designed in the paper was successes full verified by Modelsim, and the complete intelligent control program was downloaded into FPGA board to be tested. The testing results show that the free-inducing heating control system designed in this article can be operated stably and meet the design goals.
