| The development of Hangzhou Time-honored Brand, a vital part of the city’s historical and cultural heritage as well as the "golden name card" in publicity, witnesses the progressing of Hangzhou. It’s a valuable yet rare-involved research area to study Hangzhou Time-honored Brand from the angle of theory of design. Bearing a long history, those companies have gradually formed distinct culture with unique connotation. Therefore, the study on image design of those corporations, which could enjoy great promotion in Time-honored Brand remodeling, plays an important role in localization and nationalization in modern design. Based on site investigation, survey and document reference, companies’ image recourse analysis and conclusion of time-honored brand are made mainly by historical document research, survey, comparison and interdisciplinary, coming to the summary of main problems like disordered management of visual image and lack of spontaneity, originality and originality, yet advantage in abundant image recourse and potential expanding visual space. At the end of this dissertation, four pieces of advice is put forward in image design promotion of Hangzhou time-honored brand, namely succession of traditional elements, emphasis on integration of traditional aesthetic and modern design, embodiment of specialty and enriching of cultural connotation. |
