Venture capital, as an agent of the real economy, has important economic significance in the early stage of the industry. Domestic venture capital activities started late, but the development speed was very fast. In recent years, there are several risk investment companies listed on the new board, become a public company, and the popular areas of risk investme nt change from traditional start-up companies, to Pre-IPO, and to popular mergers and acquisit io ns investment nowadays. Venture capital is behind the scenes manipulator in capital market, and it’s active in the primary market, pushing the real economy step forward. However, it’s the practice and theoretical basis out of jointed, each risk investment companies rely on their own experience to invest in the areas of expertise in investment activities, even in areas where is beyond their own understanding. By subjective judgment and engaging in investment activities, a large number of investment projects will result as failures.By study on home and abroad researches on theory and practice of risk investme nt, domestic venture capital project evaluation ability is far inferior to foreign investme nt enterprises in according to that venture capital investment starts later and overall domestic economy and policy environment also have greater impact on it. So I hope to design a quantifiable risk investment projects evaluation system that through the method of literat ure research, expert scoring, and application case for the practice units. By re-shaping the evaluation process system, completing and perfecting all aspects of the business process, redefining the method that company uses in project evaluation, the system provides the basis for scientific decision-making in project investment. And I hope that through redesigning the investment evaluation system, it can make the company’s operation more standardized, project investment ability improved, and reduce project be or get out of risk.This paper summaries the history of the development of the venture investment, and conduct the research to the related theories of risk investment. Through analyzing present situation of investment project value assessment system in risk investment company, the company’s new project investment value evaluation system is formed by process improvement and optimization. Hope that it can provide reference and help for the company’s future project investment activities.
