The Study Of Interactive Development Between Industrial Structure Optimization And Urbanization

The optimization of industrial structure and the development of urbanization play an extremely important role in regional economic development, it can be said that both of them decide whether the regional economy has a sustained and healthy development. The optimization of industrial structure help to improve the quality and speed of national economic. While, the speed up of the process of urbanization contribute to the development of national economic and the harmony of the society. we can say that the interactive of the optimization of industrial structure and the urbanization process promotes the development of our economy and society. At the present, our country is in a period of the adjustment of industrial structure which we face great pressure. The low level urbanization and industrial structure have been seriously hampered the healthy development of our economy and society. From another perspective, if the industrial structure could not change timely, it would affect the level of urbanization especially when we are at a low stage of urbanization level.It can be visibility saw that urbanization and the industrial structure optimization influence each other. only both of them coordinated develop, can our society and economy have a healthy development. Currently, most of the research about the relationship between the industrial structure optimization and the urbanization focused on the macro-theoretical research, less of them studied the specific regions. This paper focuses on the regional economy, I has an empirical research about the industrial structure optimization and Urbanization in Shandong Province. Firstly, this dissertation have a theoretical study of domestic and foreign scholars on the industrial structure and Urbanization. On this basis, I interprete the connotation of the industrial structure optimization and Urbanization. Then, I analysis the interactive development of the industrial structure and urbanization. After the theoretical analysis, I analysis the interactive development of the industrial structure and urbanization in an empirical method. The specific approach is that to build the industrial structure optimization and urbanization index system firstly, using 0-1 interval gamut conversion method to standardize the data processing. Then, to build a VAR empirical analysis based on the relationship 1985-2014 Shandong Province to study the interactive development of the industrial structure optimization and urbanization. The results show that: The original sequences of life urbanization index and industrial structure optimization comprehensive level indicators are smooth. The population urbanization, economic cities, urbanization comprehensive level, rationalization of industrial structure and industrial structure sophistication index exist cointegration relationship. Impulse response analysis shows that the positive shock effect from the optimization of the industrial structure to the life urbanization is more obvious in the first three period. And then gradually weakened. While life urbanization has an obvious positive effect on the industrial structure optimization adjustment. Variance decomposition furtherly concluded that life urbanization contributed more to the industrial structure adjustment; Industrial Structure has a greater impact on the overall level of urbanization, economic urbanization and comprehensive urbanization level contribute more to the sophistication of the industrial structure. Economic urbanization contributes more to the rationalization of the industrial structure. Finally, on the basis of empirical analysis, I draw the conclusions and provide some policy recommendations about the interactive development between the industrial structure optimization and the Urbanization of Shandong Province.
